She/Her: Ugg's always run small, so I ordered a whole size up. These are very well designed, and ultra comfortable. I always wished I could wear my Ugg's in wet weather, and now I can. Finally, water resistant comfort. These are worth the expense.

Sandy Johnson: Great boot. Gorgeous. Well made. Warm. The boot is fully lined with sheepskin fleece so you don’t need a thick sock. I waver between a 8.5 and a 9 in shoe size. Purchased a size 9 which fits perfectly with thin socks (my preference). If you must do the thick sock thing, size up, but since the shoe is made of leather I expect the fleece to eventually recede and the leather to stretch a bit. The laces take a bit to arrange but are a perfect solution for skiers who have trouble finding boots due to sturdy legs and thick calves.

I also bought a Used-Like New pair which put it at a little more than half off at $164. Took a while to get here, but when they arrived, they had a couple of pairs for sale at the next level down which was Used at $142.

My problem is it doesn’t get cold enough where I live to justify a boot like this, unless of course I get a retirement job as a lift operator.

I bought a pair of sorel that just didn't fit right and I didn't love, Columbia that I loved but not enough support and then these which are everything I was looking for. I hesitated because of the cost but got lucky with “used” pair for half the cost. They were new just without the box. I couldn't be happier. I ordered my usual size 8.5 and they fit perfectly. I run hot so I don't like thick socks if I did I think once stretched and broken in they would still fit.

You won't regret these boots!

Northern Rockies: These boots are da bomb. They kept my feet warm at -42C which, if you’re not Canadian and haven’t experienced it, is cold. At -42C my breath froze on my hair that hung out of my hood, but my feet in my Uggs were warm :)

SamanthaT: I love these boots. This is like my third pair or fourth pair that I bought over the last 10 years. I’ve always had the short ones and then when I switched to the tall ones I was even happier because I was even warmer in the -40° weather in Canada. They do fit true to size so a size 7 with my wide feet will be a little tight just because of the instep but they do stretch a little bit and become comfortable. I suggest sizing a Half size up if you like to wear thick socks with them just so that they’re not to too tight and fit comfortably. The one thing that I do feel really upset about is that because you have to slide your foot in and rub your heel against the back of the boot overtime. The sheepskin on the inside, wears down in that one spot at the back of the boot, which then can lead to the boots, rubbing up against the back of my heel, causing me blisters. But that’s where I would suggest wearing thicker socks, to protect Your heel. Overall, I will keep buying these boots because they are just really comfortable and warm. Last thing I love about them is that I am able to take out the insoles and put in my orthopaedic winter insoles and they fit just fine and are super...

upswing2: Tried a lot of boots on, such a personal thing what fits (for example the short adirondack boot wasn't comfortable on my foot) but this one... wow - super comfortable, high quality - and they look great - a style of their own. Had tried to avoid spending the additional money, as they are expensive, but grabbed the amazon sale, and when it comes to comfort, it's worth it...

sarah cathryne: It is very comfortable and warm, this is my assessment when I got them after I didn’t have them and I was in the snow and then got them and it was no longer snowing so this is for next season. But very comfortable, very warm. But with the wrong socks, can feel snug. But not the too small snug. The snug you know you can wear out of. And for me, it’s only in one foot. So I’m ok with it, because it’s not tight. And over time I’ll out wear the snug. And it will grow out. It’s a good quality and good looking shoe. I got a size 8 1/2 because I’m a size 8 1/2. But if you’re concerned the snug will be too snug. (Don’t think it will but if you are) you can go up a size. But it might be too big over time. Idk. The 8 1/2 is fine for me and I know the slight snug is temporary and not too uncomfortable and the longer I wore the shoes, the less and less I felt it and working a few minutes, it wasn’t there. But to reach their own.

f sf s: I’ve had a pair of classic Uggs for over 10 years and wear them every winter in barely-there snow or heavy snow; they’re still going strong. Now I’m moving to an even colder, snowy area and decided to treat myself to a second pair of Uggs. Usually I wear a 7.5 in regular shoes - and a 7.5 or sometimes 8 in hiking shoes. I tried the 8 but went up to the 8.5 and am so happy that the search for a good pair of snow boots is over! I’m petite with an average arch but the 8 just had too much pressure across the top of my foot and even on the side.

EDIT Nov 7, 2021 - changed from 5 to 4 stars because these boots have horrible traction on hard-packed snow or snow over icy/slick city sidewalks. They’re great for trudging through deep snow but I’m in a city so I need something for unshoveled sidewalks with a fair amount of foot traffic. I could stand outside in freezing weather and my feet will stay toasty - but if I want to move I have to do the penguin walk. So - great for country or suburbs - not great in cities that don’t shovel sidewalks/plow streets
