Marcus:

CertainlyBenBetter:
I purchased this air mattress with the intent to use it for car camping. I enjoy taking the occasional weekend trip and a long trip a few times a year. I prefer the convenience of car camping over tent camping most of the time. I have a Subaru Outback, and measured beforehand to ensure that it would fit in the back of the car. I made this purchase last year, and the mattress has served me on a few weekend trips and a two-week trip to the Northwest Peninsula.
While it is a standard air mattress, it’s a great value. I’ve slept in the foothills of the Appalachians, woken up next to a babbling mountain stream, and got to watch the sunset through the mist on a beach on the Pacific. Every night I’ve slept on this mattress, and every morning I’ve woken up refreshed. My back is very picky about where it sleeps. Tent camping often sets it off, and there are even beds in certain hotel chains that it’s not very fond of. Waking up sore makes it far harder to get moving in the morning. I have not woken up sore in this bed once.
The 3-in-1 valve makes filling an ease without losing any air. My one complaint about this is that the clasp on the pump's...

Toofrequentashopper: I got this bed for staying a few days with a friend. I was very nervous about how comfortable it would be because I have a bad back. It was very comfortable, no memory foam mattress but very comfortable. The material is very strong as well. I have a kitten with hypodermic needle like claws, or at least that is how it feels when he tries to climb my leg to investigate what is in my hand. This bed withstood him! The set up was so easy I didn't even need the instructions. The pump worked quickly and within a few minutes I had a bed. It was a bit more challenging to deflate and get back in the box. I do not claim to be a folding master so it is very possible that it was my fault and not the bed or box. I do wish it came with the batteries but Amazon will bundle them and the price is pretty good.

S. Davis:
The PROS = For the price, this is a pretty nice airbed. I had been using a foam mattress for camping, but decided to try an airbed for the first time to save space when packing. It was surprisingly comfortable, and a twin size fitted sheet did indeed fit on it perfectly. It deflated quickly, and folded up small enough to fit back in the box. The mattress itself deserves 5 stars.
The CONS = The pump (which is included) is not impressive. It needs 6 "C" batteries (so you have to purchase two packs of four). It seems to take quite a long time to fill up the airbed using the pump. Perhaps this is normal, I have never used an airbed before, but it seemed very slow to me. And I could not figure out any way to not hold the nozzle the entire time, so you have to sit and hold it while it ever so slowly inflates the mattress. Plus, filling the airbed ONE time nearly drained the batteries! If you need to buy new batteries every single time you want to fill the airbed, that cost will add up very quickly. I lost a little air the first night I used it, and there was just enough juice left in the batteries to top it up. On the second night, the batteries had...

Skeptic:
A nice product, but the included pump won't completely inflate it to the pressure i want. It does inflate it rapidly, but only to a point where it starts to develop a little pressure.
Otherwise very nice and has stayed inflated for over two weeks now.
Edit 1-AUG-2010: I've had this for a while now and realized that the pump is fine, the problem was that alkaline batteries reading 1.5 Volts actually don't have enough power to run it properly. I put in D-to-AA adapters and used regular NiMH rechargeables, now it works great and pumps it up within about 30 seconds. (Tech note: Even though the AA batteries are only 1.4 Volts fully charged, they can deliver more current than the Alkaline "D" cells I was using. They seem to last for about 5 fills before needing recharging, and even with carrying the charger and a small 12V-110VAC inverter, it still weighs a lot less than with "D" cells in them.)
The valve assembly is the same as on the Queen and Full size sold by Intex. It works great for both quick filling and fast emptying but you need to be careful not to accidentally bump it or it will pop off and you'll end up on the ground in 10...
