Richard P.: I'm a fan of Tubigrip, but I must confess that one of my frustrations with certain distributors of it is that there's some fluctuation between use of cotton and use of materials containing latex and it's not always clearly identified. As someone with a latex allergy, this becomes particularly frustrating when it's not clearly marked on the product description page. In this case, it's noted in small print on the back of the box. Quite honestly, this needs to be clearly acknowledged as most of us who have a latex allergy have strong response to it.
This seems to vary between sizes. With this particular size (size E), it is noted on the back of the box - fortunately in a bold "caution."
I continue to be overall fairly grateful for Tubigrip. It helps with holding on wound bandages and is great for compression. The sizing is nearly always accurate and I'm amazed how durable these are for the most part. They are easy to cut into the appropriate size. They've definitely made a positive difference for my wound care needs on a lower limb that continues to have a small wound.
However, it's super important note that this product does contain natural rubber latex. For...

CSL: Was recommended by my physio when I badly sprained my ankle & tore a ligament. Gave my enough support after it had started to heal so that I could begin light exercise and finally start putting my weight on it. Wish I had known about it years ago.
