Amazon Customer: I just put my bookcase together yesterday, and I'm very happy with how it turned out. It wasn't difficult, either, even for me to do it by myself. But there are a couple things that aren't explained or warned about:
1. The instructions have you put the bottom shelf on in the very last step. DON'T WAIT! If you wait until the very last step to put that shelf on, you'll need someone else to hold up the weight of the whole bookcase so that you can get underneath it to screw the shelf on. Put that shelf on earlier!
2. The instructions don't make this clear: Make sure that all of the horizontal steel pieces have their holes going up and down, not side to side. Those holes are what you'll use to screw on the shelves. Luckily, I figured that out fairly early, butvi could've caused myself a lot of extra work if I hadn't.
