I was able to put it together using a screw driver. The cuts are precise. The wood didnt crack easily like my experience with other products

LeShea: Sturdy bookshelf and very beautiful! Love the ample shelf space and the bottom cabinets with the doors and gold circle handles. It’s a nice statement piece especially if your decorating theme is gold. I would have to say the assembly looked pretty involved and difficult. We hired some people to put it together and from just watching them assemble it, I’m glad we did! Highly recommend!

courtney ivey: I just moved into my new home and need a LOT of new furniture. These look nice in my office. I bought two. The assembly went fine - I did it myself without help. It would go faster with two people. They are fairly sturdy. They look like they do in the photo. Don't rush the assembly and it will go together well. There will be styrophoam everywhere, so just be prepared for that. But that's no big deal. I recommend these if you are looking for modern bookshelves for a value.

Amber venableAmber venable: Just got in mail today. The box was slightly damaged but there was no damage or discolor to my product. The styrofoam as you’ll read in other comments falls apart, because of this you’ll want to not open on carpet. I feel this isn’t a big deal so I’m shocked people would rate it badly solely on styrofoam...we just dusted them off and threw the box out. It was super easy to put together and is exactly as pictured. Can’t wait to add some stuff to it! After reading some comments I was nervous that it was going to be cheap and wrong it’s far from it. I think it was money well spent
