Charles Lucas: Instructions for assembly were adequate. Comes with screwdriver but may need a pair of pliers to aid in setting screws for middle section. Nice heavy metal parts with composite wood shelves.

I like the adjustable feet. I think the metal panels should have tighter quality control. Some of the weld points are not level and at the price point you expect tighter control. One of the cross bar I received had screw holes too far inset in the ends that made it difficult to complete assembly.

Everything in the box was labeled and made it easy to complete assembly but the labels are difficult to remove once everything is put together.

This is sturdy once assembled and perfect for my needs. I am happy with my purchase and would by again if I needed another bookcase.

Rogier ColijnRogier Colijn: Good value for money. Steel frames are nice and thick. Feet are a very nice addition. Wood panels seem thick and heavy. (although they seem like laminated wood, but what can you expect for this price)

Assembly is o-kay, the middle horizontal beams use double sided threaded studs, who are a bit of a pain to work with. Screwing the stud in on one end is fine, but then you have to thread the next horizontal beam on by rotating it, meaning once it's tight, you will lightly scratch the side wall of the frame. (hard to describe)

JP: I purchased this as I have the office desk that matches and been very happy with it for the last two years. as it looks good and has lasted well. It has been used solidly for the last two years so I am confident in the quality and looks.
This is equally well built, solid and sturdy product once built. This build can be a bit tedious as there are lot of shelves to screw in as each "cube" is a separate shelf so you have 3 x 3 + 2 x 3 +1 x 3.
I built this in under an hour on my own and my advice would be screw the metal sections lightly and tighten once the shelves are in.
A number of people have complained that some of the link screws have caused cuts and blisters - i used a microfibre cloth to hold and screw them in and no blisters or cuts.
The finished product looks good and appears more expensive that it is. I have added some mini led spotlights to the underside of each shelf which really lift it.
