Bob Hitchcock: Treager pellets are consistently reliable. Be careful if you use the grill for eveything because the heavier flavors like hickory can overwhelm meats like chicken. We either marinate or use our own rub, and we want that to be the main flavor. I have put pizzas and chicken pies on the Traeger, and the apple flavor IS the best- giving it an extra dimension without being overwheming.

Philipp B.: Ich verwende die Pellets in einem Burnhard Smoker. Die Originalpellets haben dazu tendiert extrem Asche zu bilden, was zu einem Rückstau der Glut in die Förderschnecke geführt hat.
Das ist mir mit diesen Pellets nicht passiert. Bin also sehr zufrieden.

Kurt: This is perfect for beef and you should also try mesquite. Both are good. Stay away from apple, it's not bad, just not traditional smoked favor.

Jon F.: I'm a big Traeger fan and user. I usually buy my pellets from Amazon due to the competitive pricing and good selection, unless I run out unexpectedly (which doesn't happen often).
They ship super fast so waiting is never and issue.
One bag usually lasts me around 3-4 weeks and is almost comparable to the amount of time you'll get out of a tank of propane unless you're actually slow smoking a lot of stuff. I use my pellets and smoker for everything but high temp searing since the flavour is so much better.
Never use non-Traeger pellets in my smoker.
