JonVanJonVan: I’m currently using these candles daily to light as a memorial candle nightly for a departed loved one. I initially purchased a more expensive candle and had been using them daily - with satisfaction. Since I will be burning candles daily for at least a year I wanted to look into more economical options. The 72 count of this item and it’s per unit price was appealing to me. So I purchased the item.
I am now through 3/4 of the box and neutral about these candles. So far, 90% of the candles are pitted and heavily marked up - like the picture I posted. However, the candles are functional. They do burn for about the stated time. I usually melt the bottom of the candle with a lighter so that it sticks to the bottom of my candle holder. The more expansive candles do not turn black at the base when I do this, these candles do. It’s not a good looking candle. It does it’s job without fanfare or beauty.
If you’re looking for an economical candle to burn in private, this does the job. If you’re going to be showing these candles off in front of guests at close range, I would suggest you look elsewhere as they’re not a good looking product.

TGB: This was for my Mom who won't be using them until next year. However it had become challenging to find this size for her Menorah and such a large singular quantity. She was pleased to receive them.

Mr Badger: Whilst I can't comment on the use of these candles for anything other than burning to produce light and heat, I will be buying these again. They do last for about 3 hours as described and they burn very well. Large flame which lights the corner of my room rather well. A good amount of heat is produced; handy for warming cold fingers.
I don't know what else to say other than they ARE GOOD CANDLES!
