Lisab22: Works great. Just the right med size. Looks sharp on the counter. I prefer the pull open door s the kind you have to pick a button. This is better. Easy wipe clean up inside and out. The only problem is you can't see the number panel if the light is off. You even have you either have to open the door of the microwave and put your finger on the button or turn the light on in the room. Too bad engineers haven't figured out how to make the buttons glow in the dark or backlite them ....and they're not either. I don't think any of them are. Are they?
My last microwave was the same you could'nt see the number panel in the dark.

Amazon Customer: We bought our first Alexa microwave in 2020 and loved it. For a visually impaired person this was a wonderful addition to our kitchen! Due to a power outage the old one stopped connecting to Alexa ~ still worked but the connectivity was what we needed. Enter the new Toshiba! It has a slightly smaller footprint than our old one so fit right in. Set up was a breeze. The inside is a bright white color. When defrosting it actually says "defrosting" so there is no uncertainty. So grateful for this tech!

New York Customer: The microwave take up a lot of counter top space, but it works well. The instructions are difficult to understand, but once you get how it works, its easy to control. The connection to Alexa isn't the greatest. I honestly didn't think I would use that feature, but I find myself using it all the time.

Before I get into MY review I'd like to address someone else's review.

When I was checking out the Microwaves, I stumbled across a review for THIS one that claimed that you couldn't type in the time to microwave, and so were stuck with 1 to 6 minutes, and then you were forced to press the "More" or "Less" buttons raising or lowering the time by one minute. Or using the "Start / Play" button to ad 30 seconds. Limiting the times you can microwave starting at 30 Seconds, 1 to 6:30: .5, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5, 6, 6.5 Minutes. Though you can add more minutes by pressing "More". If this were true, this would be a HORRIBLE microwave, as we know that a handful of seconds can be the difference between perfectly cooked food and burned or overcooked food.

She doesn't know what she's talking about, obviously didn't read the manual OR EVEN LOOK at the keypad.

You CAN work it like she described, though I don't know WHY you'd WANT TO! First, she describes ONLY using the Quick Start buttons, which are the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,...

Scott H.: The first oven we received was damaged -- packaging and the unit itself. Amazon's return policy and process was brilliant. I returned the oven on Amazon, dropped it off at UPS, and a new one arrived within four days (no damage - new condition). So, full marks to Amazon for handling a disappointing customer problem.

The microwave itself seems like a decent unit -- large cavity in a small footprint -- exactly what we needed. But there are several functional issues that seem like just really poor design:

1) The kitchen timer can be set, and counts down, but doesn't beep when finished. The oven has a silence function to silence all beeping, but this is not engaged. The oven beeps once when cooking is finished (every time). The Kitchen Timer has beeped twice in about 20 tries at different times - so something is definitely wrong there.

2) The beep when the microwave finishes cooking is very soft, and only sounds once. It will be very easy to miss hearing this from another room. Other units have persistent beeping when food finishes cooking so it's easier to hear that cooking is complete.

3) All units have various ways to engage cooking. But this one uses an...

David A WunkerDavid A Wunker: When we first bought this microwave, I had a bit of trouble setting it up but eventually was able to make it work using the MSmartLife app as recommended in the instructions. However, as others have noted, it worked for a couple of days (long enough to get us addicted to the feature) and then stopped working. I struggled with it for several days and eventually convinced Amazon to take it back. We got a replacement and I could not get it to connect to Alexa at all. I phoned customer support at Amazon and I have to give them 5 stars. The person walked me through the procedure to fix the problem and it worked. This involved unplugging the microwave, reconnecting to MSmartLife, then disabling the MSmartLife skill in Alexa and re-enabling the skill. Following this it worked. The photo was taken after asking Alexa to microwave for 2 1/2 minutes and as you can see it worked. I don’t know if I will have to redo this every two days but will post an update in a week or two. The microwave itself is great but the Alexa feature, when it works is fabulous.

Update: a week later, I have had to reprogram Alexa—just disabling MSmartLife and re-enabling seems to work. Other Canadians have...

Arturo: En primer lugar quiero destacar las funciones que tiene, aparte de "simplemente calentar comida". Esta la función por la que más me llamo la atención que viene con freidora de aire incluida, lo cuál ayuda bastante y evita tener que utilizar aceite (aclaro que no es exactamente el mismo resultado que una de aceite, pero al menos en mi opinión en este apartado no decepciona) y por convección (para quien no conozco, que me incluyo y tuve que indagar bastante, esta básicamente te deja hacer una pizza e incluso carne a un nivel más que aceptable, eso si dependerá que tipo y de que calidad sea el producto que compraste), además de tener la capacidad de descongelar sin calentar (como usualmente sucede que tienes estar al pendiente o al tanteo o la más antigua de todas con agüita caliente, abarca prácticamente cualquier cos: carne, verduras, etc... y al momento de sacarlo del micro no esta ni de lejos caliente, me sorprendió bastante ya que pensé que lo iba a dejar a medias o tibio, pero no todo lo contrario).

Finalmente en cuanto estéticamente este me gusto bastante, ya que es no como el típico microondas de toda la vida. En cuanto a practicidad y espacio, tanto...
