It’s perfect if that’s what you might be looking for. It can be good to prepare one cup of late (foaming milk for one cup), I’d probably say milk for 8-10oz cup late which means 4-5oz of hot milk before foaming. It foams well.

Barb B: **SEE EDIT- I LOVE THIS!
It broke after one use. I put the coffee grounds in, poured the hit water in and it cracked. Not happy and would NOT recommend this to anyone.
**EDIT- I contacted seller and they IMMEDIATLY fixed my issue. I am SO glad it was taken care of and quick! It is SO nice not to have to use the big coffee maker when I just a cup of coffee, not an entire pot! I WILL recommend this! THANK YOU so much for your assistance with this issue. I appreciate the quick respond to remedy this problem!

John Nemesht: I spent $40 on a "special" stainless steel insert for my Keurig so I could use regular grounds instead of K-cups. It, like the plastic one I had before, made a WEAK cup of coffee! Disappointed, I purchased this simple French press from Amazon.
The concept, for anyone who hasn't used one is simple. Put in a couple teaspoons of coffee, add boiling water, stir, press filter plunger down, pour into cup. Simple. Easy. Fast. All of the benefits of a Keurig, without the environmental damage OR the overpriced K-cups!
Cleaning is a breeze, the glass is specially tempered to handle extreme temperature changes...so you can go right from having boiling water in it, to running cold water from the tap, and NOT have it crack or explode on you! A quick rinse and you are good to go...about once a week, I will use the included sponge cleaner with some soap on it.
The coffee I brew with it is nice and strong now (I put in an extra teaspoon of coffee, what can I say, I am an addict!), and I don't miss my Keurig AT ALL! Best part is the price. Just buy it, already! :)

Peggie Schneider: Due to COVID we can no longer use our Keurig machine at work. I bought this so I can still have a cup of coffee while I am there. I have to say that it is a winner! I put in the hot water from the water cooler machine with my normal coffee. In fact I cut the top off my Kcup so I have exactly the coffee I like! It works great! There are 2 fine screens to filter the grounds. I was afraid I would have grounds in my coffee but I don't. I'm so happy with this purchase.
It is easy to clean too. Just a little soap and water and I let it air dry. I highly recommend this french press!

L. Townes Cook: I love French presses, and love the size of this. I have another one that's *almost* the same, and I wanted one for work, which is why I purchased this one. The problem is, it doesn't filter as well as the other one I have. The filter system is practically the same, so I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or what. The second issue is that it doesn't plunge to the bottom--it leaves a healthy gap so I don't feel like I'm getting the "crush" of the press against the grinds. Seems weird. But I guess if that's what you're used to, this would be a good press for you.
