sarahdc: I only wore these maybe 5 times before the heels started to wear down and now the metal of the heel inside of the "rubber" part pokes out on both heels and causes for some slippery moments when trying to walk on any tile surface. I love these so much but I'm afraid I'm going to have to toss them out or only wear them to outside events. they are extremely comfortable to stand in for long periods of time but these should have lasted longer for the price.
