ilovepoodles: This is more of a plastic spikes but it worked great. The neighbors cat was sleeping on my back porch lawn furniture daily. I wanted him gone, as I don’t want to have cat hair all over my furniture. Just putting this out on my furniture at night worked well. At first he could get under the plastic, but then I put more on the chair and he wouldn’t get up there. Not sure where he sleeps no!

Hortensia Gonzalez: I bought this product becuase I want to let my cats go to the patio, but I don't want them climbing the fence. I haven't set it on the fence. However, I let my cats step on it, and they hate it. So, I will love it. The only thing I don't like about this product is the width. I think that the width needs to be larger.

Boyd Burton: I was very disappointed in one of the key elements of the mat. The very small, plastic stakes are worthless, they don’t go into the ground at all and so I had to go buy landscaping stakes to keep the map from blowing away.
Not that it’s a problem of the product but I found that the cats can see where the mat ends and simply jump over it to get into my garden beds.
I would not buy the product again
