Celticdragonfly: We had a cream furball treatment we loved, but it was discontinued. We are always looking to find a product that we can replace it with. We got this as one of the cats is finicky about flavor.
First off...this is super thick. So even our cat that will eat anything struggles to lick this off.
Flavor...the pickier cat doesn't like it. He will lick it off if we get it on his paw, but otherwise, he wants nothing to do with it. He likes other catnip-flavored things, but not so much this one.
It seems to help with reducing the furball issues, but it is such a struggle to get it in the cat that really needs it.
Maybe if they made this less thick and heavy it might be easier to use. I would prefer if they would make one with a softer paste consistency. So the search continues...

Dana Johnson: My baby, Bitty, was constipated. She normally poops daily and she hadn’t pooped a good poop in 2 days. She had only pooped a couple very small (quarter sized) poops in 2 days and she seemed to be in discomfort. I already had this product from the summer when she seemed to be hacking up more hairballs. This was actually the first time she had ever been constipated. She is 5 years, and 2 months old, and her undercoat just recently came in over the summer (bad timing, I know!) and we also recently got a kitty that she cleans too. Anyway- I tried just feeding it to her on a spoon thinking it would be like a treat, no go. I tried mixing it with her wet food that she gets in the morning, no go. So I asked my co-worker that had recommended it, she said to mix it with Gerber baby food, I tried all the flavors I thought she might like, no go. So then I followed the instructions on the label that basically say if you can’t mix it, put it on their nose or paws. It’s extremely sticky so I felt really bad doing this, and I’m sure you will too if you love your animal, which I have no doubt you do since you’re still reading this. Anyway, I put it on her paw and of course, since she’s...

Mac: I was leery that my cats would eat this because they’d turned down those popular squishy treats they lick.
I tried it because my cats seemed to start vomiting near “hair ball time” and a friend’s vet had recommended it.
It works! My cats will paw at the tube wanting some! I’ve also noticed a positive difference in their coats too.

Zarabeth Langer: My cats really love this! Even Miss Super Picky. It definitely cut down the hairballs. The tube was only about half full, so that wasn't great, but it seems like that is the trend now everywhere. A full tube would have had 5 stars.

Julie Godin: My male cat is a very picky eater. I first tried giving it to him as a lickable treat and he didnt want any. He will not lick it off his paw either, will rather shake his paw violently sending projectiles of brownish goo everywhere. The next day i mixed it with his food, and he then decided to go on a hunger strike because he refuses to eat anything that seems off. I even had to clean his bowl thoroughly to get it rid of the smell because that alone made him suspicious of his food.
I tried to make this product work as much as i could. My picky male cat doesnt want anything to do anywhere near it.
On the other hand, the tuna flavor was very appealing to my less picky female cat.
-This product can/will work on non-too-picky cats.
-I dont recommend the use of this product on picky cats.

Grace: My cat's loved this they do not like paste so I was so pleased when I came across this one. It's very easy to use and they will lick it off my finger and actually enjoy it (they look for more) unlike the paste's which seem to stick to their mouths.
