Frances: When I first received these I tried giving to my cat whole and he would not touch them. I broke them up into tiny pieces and he literally could not get enough of them. I think he would eat the entire bag if I let him. He has very bad allergies - poor guy has been sneezing and his nose has been running non stop. He is a super fussy eater and these are the first of these type of medications that he will eat. Hopefully they help him!

Maria Oleynik: My cat won’t eat it by any means, idk what is it about it but even if I blend it with his food he eats everything around it and leaves the crumbles of vitamins around untouched. I mixed it with the water and add a little bit into his water bowl, I think his fur became silkier after a week of taking it. But looking forward to see the results in a long run.

D BACA: As far as flavor is concerned, I personally did not try it, but based off of my cat's reaction, she initially ate the supplements for 2 weeks, but out of nowhere, did not want to eat them anymore. I think this was just enough time for her to strengthen her immune system as after a couple of days of giving them to her, she was less lethargic and stopped sneezing after sneezing for over a week. The chews are very soft.

A.R. Zellers: These were recommended for cats. They are a bit dense and not as desirable as other treats but one guy will eat both halves. The other guy will eat them sometimes. The texture may throw him off. Hoping these will give them a healthy boost.

Zhanna D: My cat used to eat these for many years. This year the batch I recently opened was dark colored and smelled like burnt wood. She refused to eat it. I ordered the new batch and it’s completely different in color and smell. She ate it but then vomited everything with it. I tried 3 more times and she vomited. Both batches are far from expiration date.

JoAnnJoAnn: I have tried many, many L-Lysine products over the years, and have thrown away many products over the years! This is the first one I can get my FIV positive cat to take. I treat it like a cookie for him. They are large, so I break it into 3 pieces and he gets 1 twice a day. Sometimes I will mix in a few regular treats with it. But if I just call out "cookies" he comes running. Now on the other hand, my little girl would not even try them. She is an extremely picky eater. But even though it is healthy for her, she is FIV negative. Hopefully one day I will find one that she likes. My boy, Guapito is on the left, and my baby girl, Bella is on the right ❤️

Amazon Customer: Cats being fickle he has stretches when he won't eat these. No idea why. I use them to serve his meds which is a pill I grind up. He gets 3 pills a day with 1/2 chew each. 500 mg is more than was recommended by the vet for his FIV+. The science papers on Lysine aren't conclusive. Some say it works others say it doesn't. My old tom seems to be doing better when he eats these, so we'll keep getting them. I used to get the paste from the vet, but then he quit eating that. Which was a minor disaster because he wasn't just not getting the Lysine, but also didn't get the meds I served with it. So far he has eaten the last two bags of these, but only ate about half of the bag before that. I hope they are low idodine. He also has hypothyroid and shouldn't get too much iodine. I hadn't checked these and only just noticed that it said fish flavor.
