Alex Eckhardt: This book is incredible and truly gives you the tools for a strong mindset. No matter if you are a rookie or a salty vet you will value from reading this book.

HaileyHailey: Good message and great read. The paperback was shipped with lots of damage though.

Chris: I am currently in fire school and when I picked up this book, I was lacking motivation and was doubting myself and had considered quitting the fire academy. This book helped by giving me the kick in the ass I needed. No one was going to do this for me, I needed to push myself, and get into the best shape of my life so that I could serve my community and become the fireman they not only expected me to be, but deserved me to be. The book is a little on the short end but what it lacks in length it makes up for in the spirit of the work.

AJ Martin: It’s a quick, easy read that’s packed with nuggets. Great as a first read and as a yearly refresher of ‘why’ we do what we do.

Ashley R: All I can say is WOW. What an Incredible read. I have been a FF/Medic at my department for a few years now. This book has absolutely helped shift my focus and makes me want to work on all of my weaknesses with my crew, so I can be better prepared for this next call. I would consider myself fairly motivated and disciplined person. I am a combat vet and a hard worker, but the way he explains everything and breaks it down for the Fire Service just breaks barriers almost. Took me just a day to read through and highlight key points. Even considering getting this for my crew to read over, so we can all work to being the FF we want to be. As the book finishes it says, "Would you want You rescuing you?"
