Dr. Rob: While this was a compelling and page turning story which I enjoyed. I do not understand why the publishers/Authors call it a "Jack Ryan Novel" on the front cover - unless I missed something there is not one character in this story named "Jack Ryan" . Never the less it was a compelling story. But it loses a (Red) star for the marketing subterfuge worthy of the KGB and "maskirovka" (strategic deception - as per its use in the story)

Kindle Customer: This is my favourite book. I must have read it four or five times over the years, OK so it's dated cold war scenario. Forget this, it's an exciting read, it's as true to life as could be possible, as an ex cold war warrior it has a resonance of truth running through it. It has several central characters and concurrent stories all linked. It's just an awesome exciting action packed read, read. Read!

Andrew Rundle: Great story. Love the technology and characters. Engrossing, didn’t want to put it down. And this my 3rd time reading.

joe Hassler: The paperback appeared brand new, something in a used book I was not expecting!

J.D. Doyle: The subject matter is World War III. Seems to be more poignant as each day passes. Tom Clancey weaves a great tale in this terrible setting. Characters are real and have the same faults every human has. This book is a page turner and a thrill ride from start to finish.

Bandon Bill: A bit dated but still a great read! Masterful storytelling, the Soviet threat is gone but the nuclear threat remains.

Matt Boone: Outside of being yet another great Tom Clancy military book: I loved the pacing of each individual story. Some booms attempt to tell the stories of multiple people and flop, but Red Storm Rising weaves an entagled and thrilling world with multiple characters, interleaving their struggle for survival.

Jonathan Rothwell: A very intricate and detailed story about a future war in Europe told through the eyes of several protaganists on both sides of the conflict.
Some of the technology is slightly dated now ( it was written 30 years ago), but it is still chillingly relevent today.
A fantastic read for anyone interested in military and political fiction.
