Donald W. King: It works just fine for me. I had some areas pf a new air conditioner's cooling fins that were accidentally flattened completely. Each area was about 3 - 3 inches in diameter. First thing I learned was to work gradually from the outer edges during the straightening process. If you try to run the straightener right down through the middle, you will not only fail to correct the fins, you also might tear some of the fragile material loose. Another ting is to wear some light gloves to protect you fingers as you work. Those thin fins are very sharp.

Chad G.: Seems well made but after fixing two very badly damaged coils it took its toll on the product. But definitely worth it and would buy again. Absolutely amazing how much debris was in the indoor coils. Also, loved the product description, actually was the reason I decided to upgrade from a cheaper product to this item, but was worth the upgrade. Note: its not just a "Fin Cleaner" but a Fin *Straightener* & Cleaner, it will fix bent fins in your coil which was an added plus.

ava e leutholt: i have a great many rental houses,( i'm a landlord) and a large part of my job is maintenance,, ok,, with 2 window units in each apt,,or house,, you can imagine that I do a lot of filter changing,, and fin " cleaning.".. so even though tenants always tell you they keep their filters clean,, believe me, they don't,,,,, with my new fin brush,, i can take the front off the unit,, start at the top and brush straight down,, and the dirt all comes down to the bottom,, and I then place the brush at the bottom,, and gently lift,, and pull the wet,. gross sludge right out,, it is super easy,, and such a great addition to my tool kit,, i like it alot,, and it has saved me costly replacements on air conditioning units,, i had to get one of my own,, because my husband keeps his in his truck,, so now I have one for my car too!!,...they are worth their weight in gold,,

PublicName: Worthless. Will cause more damage than good. All of the tines are stuck together in a solid piece. The plastic cuff is unnecessary because there is no spacing between the tines. I separated the tines but they stay in the same form. You would literally have to hand space them for every pull on the fins. You are far more likely to damage perfectly good fins than possibly straighten bent ones.

Michael J.: Even after separating them a bit after receiving them. The teeth straighten the fins out great. But you’ve gotta be careful inserting them so you don’t bend others in the process.
