GraceGrace: I’m a 5’9, 180ish pound hourglass shaped woman with relatively thick thighs, which measure up at around a 24” circumference each.

These socks are worth the buy, but inconsistent between colors. I purchased both the white (pictured) and the black pairs.

PROS:
-They’re the perfect amount of sheerness to where my skin tone was still visible underneath but so was the color of the sock.
-The socks hit me at the ideal spot mid thigh to just peek under skirts and shorts.
-I feel ok using these socks with garters and I don’t expect them to tear or run easily.
-The black pair stays in place and for the most part doesn’t roll too much.

CONS:
-The white pair of socks roll like crazy, straight down my leg. Luckily, I use them with garters anyways, so it isn’t a problem for me.
-There is fairly major inconsistency between the socks. The pairs came in completely different packaging with different branding, and the black pair seems to be of slightly higher quality.

Overall, I would definitely recommend the black pair of socks. As for the white, I would say go for it if you plan on using garters, or if you plan on pulling your socks up...

Laura 86: These stockings are super cute!! Fit as expected and the opaqueness is a nice departure from the usual sheer stockings.

The only issue I had came about after wearing them for the day under a long skirt. Since the stockings don't have any of that rubbery material at the to to help hold them up,after wearing them for a few hours, they started to slide down. This meant I had to go to the bathroom every 40 minutes or so during the afternoon to pull them up. Based on that, these are definitely stockings better suited to"sexy times" or environments where you don't mind if your stockings ride down. Not idea for a corporate office environment or somewhere where you need your stockings to stay in place.

JackieJackie: I finally found the perfect stockings. These stockings are definitely opaque rather than sheer and the material is stretchy enough to not sag or wrinkle. I am not a fan or "one size fits all", but these did fit my long 5'11" body going all the way to crotch level even an inch or two higher than the picture. There is no silicone along the top but the band is snug enough to keep them in place. As much as I like the feminine look of lace tops and silicone beading to prevent slippage, I especially like these stockings because the design of the top allows you to easily use garters if you choose to. I have had some issues trying to clip the thicker lace designs and silicone styles. I read other reviews and I can see where they might be too binding on thicker legs but I highly recommend them for taller lean ladies. The purple color is an amazing deep purple and I also purchased the neon green, neon orange and the black. The neon colors are amazing and I can't wait to wear them out under a black light..

T A Kirby: Bought these for a Halloween costume. They fit great and are very good quality. Held up all night with me wandering around and dancing at various parties. They look good as new afterward. I would highly recommend. For reference on fit, I am 5'10" and slender. Hose were plenty long enough and I think they would easily fit a larger person. However, they have great elastic and I never had to pull them up. So comfortable that I forgot that I had them on.
