Down2Earth: I waterproofed prior to wearing as I purchased to work an acre of hillside landscaping. Nothing delicate or flat. Comfortable. Durable. No break-in required. I purchased my normal size and wear with a medium thickness sock - though enough room to go more chunky. I scrunch the sock down to prevent dirt from entering into the boot...and it looks cuter!

GIANCARLO: Prodotto nuovo, conforme e originale.
Peccato però per alcune piccole pecche:
1) Le scarpe non sono arrivate nella scatola originale Timberland ma in quella sostitutiva di Amazon, come a volte accade. La motivazione ufficiale è che l'imballaggio originale si è danneggiato durante il trasporto. In effetti, monitorando la spedizione, ho visto che arrivavano dalla Germania;
2) Ci sono alcune piccolissime macchioline qua e là, la maggior parte impercettibili, solo una leggermente più visibile sul lato interno di una delle due scarpe.
Ho provato a spazzolarle e a passarci la gomma per scarpe scamosciate, ma non sono andate via del tutto.
Credo comunque che terrò il prodotto, innanzitutto perché si tratta di piccolezze, poi perchè si tratta di uno scarponcino da montagna che andrà "vissuto" e si macchierà senz'altro ancora molte volte, infine perché le ho pagate 75 € che è un prezzo davvero stracciato.

Cleo: I had to size up in these boots because the sizing comes a tiny bit small and with them being so sturdy I expected them not to stretch much.
I took these boots to bestival with me along with a pair of wellies. Although they are 'weather proof' I planned to wear them on the drier days and my wellies on the rainy days just so the suede wouldn't be ruined by all the sludge and mud.
The first night was dry and these held up really well, they were a bit stiff at first but I hadn't worn them in so that was to be expected. The did become quite sore on the sides of my toes but I have also but this down to me having rather wide feet.
The second day it chucked it down and so I opted for my wellies, however by the evening it had dried a bit more so I decided to get these boots out again. It was a massive mistake, they were absolutely caked in mud and I was convinced they would be ruined and could never be saved. Despite everything I trudged though that evening, my feet did remain dry and warm. The next day I managed to remove most of the wet cakey mud from them but unfortunately I made the same mistake again that night after it rained whilst I was wearing them.
