This is a good book with the lovely Kinkade's original colour painting pictures on the opposite page as an example or guide to copy for the right sided colouring pages. The drawing images are very detailed with fine quality papers but could be quite difficult and challenging for a beginner colorist though, as this is a book suitable more for the advanced colorists with experience. A great collection of the late Thomas Kinkade paintings with beautiful illustrations, printed in the U.S.A.

Manuela L.: Carta molto scorrevole, immagini di cottage e paesaggi molto belli, con colori molto vari ed in gradazione; stimola il desiderio di riprodurre esattamente gli stessi colori delle immagini. Tuttavia avrei preferito che la traccia del disegno da colorare non fosse così schematizzata nei contorni, soprattutto nella vegetazione, in quanto ostacola la riproduzione del fogliame e dei fiori. A parte questo dettaglio, la mia opinione è molto positiva e lo consiglio.

iiiireaderiiiireader: The media could not be loaded. This is a beautiful coloring book filled with 63 different designs by the late Thomas Kinkade who is also known as the Painter of Light. My husband and I own a couple of framed prints by Mr. Kinkade and they are beautiful pieces of art that one can look at and lose themselves in.

When I saw that Posh was coming out with a coloring book based on Mr. Kinkade's artwork, I pre-ordered it sight unseen. Sometimes that is a big risk but in this case, I am very pleased with the coloring book. The designs themselves are well done but do lack some of the smaller details. I plan to use a variety of markers and pencils and be able to add my own details with those.

The book is so lovely to look at, my husband took one glance, tried to make off with MY book, and finally had to order his own because this is one that I do not intend to share.

The designs are printed on the right hand side of with the photo of the actual painting on the left hand side (i.e., opposite each other in the book.) This will allow me to look at the photo of the real painting while I am coloring my own. It also, in effect, has the printing of the design on one side of...
