Heather Strickland: I really wanted this to be good because I have a “culprit” myself. It started off good, but trailed off and away from the cat for the second half of the book. Wrapped her back into the book near the end, but I could have done without about 5 chapters! Had some laugh out loud moments, but not enough to make me want to read the sequel….

rita simpson: Disappointing, not enough about the cat, bought a copy for my friend before I read it but don't think she will be impressed either, why call it the culprit with a picture of a cat when it is not about the cat.

Sharon Temple: I couldn't resist the cover so I bought the book. It was a fun story. But, spoiler alert, I was afraid that was the type of ending it would have.

Chris: Love this book, fell head over heals for Zahra. Wonderful insight to the bond that can be shared between humans and their beautiful feline friend. Wonderfully written, I both laughed and cried and at times I felt I was there in person with Zahra and her family.
Without giving too much away as a horse person there was an awesome bonus in the read for me that I was able to relate to.
I hope we do not have to wait to long for The Culprit 2. I would be reading it now instead of writing this review if it was out.

Kindle Customer: Not your typical read, this reminded me of my own "writer's voice." An enjoyable turn of phrase, brilliant descriptions, and a glimpse into someone's life. I only gave 4 stars because I was completely jarred by the cliffhanger ending. It came out of nowhere.

Kindle Customer: if the unnecessary and too many to count commas and clauses in every sentence were removed, it would be a much easier and enjoyable read. and although the anecdotes are interesting and entertaining, the book suddenly stops cliffhanger style in the middle of a story with 'to be continued' requiring a new purchase to complete the story.
