KimKim: EDIT: On the replacement leash, the clasp was attached correctly. Decent leash, but I've only used it a few times because my puppy seems to want to eat the leather, and I'm afraid he'll chew through something so thin. We'll work up to it as he gets older.

ORIGINAL: Beautiful leash, very light, but the end was sewn closed around the wrong part of the clasp so it's completely unusable! I have requested a replacement. I will update this review if the replacement is sewn correctly!

Mary Elizabeth Guy: I know, it sounds strange, but of all the things I’ve purchased for my new pup this is my favorite. There is nothing like the feel of a leather leash and this is of very high quality. Isabelle and I are currently going through obedience training and she is so smart and willing to learn that we will continue on with more training and this leash will be with us all the way. People often make the mistake of thinking they need wide leashes but in reality it’s just the opposite. This is the perfect size.

Sammicatcat: Nearly all the available leather leashes out there are not thin enough (diameter wise) for small dogs. We're not wrangling Clydesdales here folks just little dogs, 15 pounds or less, and for these this leash is perfect. It's well-made. should last a long time and best of all the leash won't look like it's wearing your dog.
