TheraBand Professional Series Stability Ball for Exercise and Balance Training

ACT: I am recovering from a total knee replacement surgery and this was one of the pieces of equipment used in my physical therapy, so I purchased the ball so I could do the exercises at home as well as the physical therapy office. My office was gracious enough to inflate it for me so I didn’t have any issues with it.

My_Amesbury_Story: They called this stability balls but they’re really for instability to make you more stable anyway it’s really nice it’s really big it takes up spece which is the only reason why I’m giving it four-star is because I’m not gonna deflate it and reflate it if I’m going to use it so I wish anyway I’m glad I have it. It works fine. If you want it for your workouts it’s great if you want it in your bedroom and you don’t wanna look at it it’s four stars.

Brian Miller: Workhorse equipment worth the price premium. Excellent surface material that cleans well, provides optimal give while still being stable and has just the right tack for many uses. The only criticism is that you will have to inflate this ball with a team - as you are given a small white straw resembling a juice box straw to inflate. Fortunately this ball holds air exceptionally well - I've not had to inflate in 10 months. I work as a Physical Therapist Assistant in home healthcare setting and this ball does it all. No Pun intended.

Teri L. Thom: A little small for my taste and I’m 5’2”. If your proportions are such that legs are long and torso is short and you like to use these for a desk chair you may want the larger size. Durable and good quality though. Also is not red. It’s more of a salmon colour. Artists and designers will notice. 🙂

Linda C.: This theraband therapy ball was exactly as described. Make sure you read the instructions about sizing and how to inflate. I was hesitant to purchase this at first because I read some reviews where people were saying that it's much smaller than the expected size. I think they may not have read the instructions in the manual which explains expansion and waiting 24hrs before fully inflating. After doing my research, I decided on this one and I'm very happy with my purchase.

J.S.: I was thrilled that the Stability ball arrived so quickly after I placed my order. Note that the user's height determines the size of the ball. Instructions were simple to follow. The manufacturer included an adapter in the "tools" so that I could use a bicycle pump to inflate the ball to regulation size. I also liked that an illustrated series of exercises were part of the package so that I can use the stability ball at home as well as in my Core classes at the Y.

Joel Eenkhoorn: Came by courier, as advertised via Amazon Prime. 2 Days. Opened Package, followed instructions, and now I am enjoying my new Thera-Band Pro. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars...is just the color is off, mine is not red, looks more like a salmon color or pinkish red. Great chart included with exercises also comes with plugs and adapter to inflate. I used a bicycle pump with an attachment that fit it the hole and I was able to use that instead of the provided one with the ball. Remember to moisten with a little water before inserting into the valve hole in the ball.

Slove1977: There are a lot of exercise balls you can buy. I purchased a different well-rated exercise ball before this one, but I was disappointed with how quickly it deflated (within hours). I ended up returning it and reading a couple reviews on exercise balls. This one was the top pick in a review, and I ended up deciding to give it a try. This ball, unlike others, has a very firm feel, which is great for just the right amount of stability while doing exercises. I have long legs and so sometimes I like the 65cm more than the 55cm, but because this ball stays so firm and inflated, the 55cm was perfect for both exercise and for general sitting. I've had it for one week now, and it hasn't lost any of the inflation. The only downsize is not to have a pump. Maybe a pump is not included because they are trying to keep a competitive price point, but it's a little inconvenient not having a pump.

smgsmc: (1) Based on other reviews, which reported receiving either the wrong unit, receiving a package with missing parts, or receiving a dirty or greasy ball, I ordered mine directly from Amazon. If there are any mess-ups, exchanges and returns with Amazon are straightforward.

(2) I did receive the correct item: The Thera-Band Pro Series SCP Ball (Retail Package), 55 cm/22 inch diameter. It's listed as a red color, but mine is closer to an orange color. No matter.

(3) The Retail Package presumably is packaged in a box. Mine was not. The ball is fully flattened and wrapped in a plastic bag. There is also a poster (with inflation instructions and exercises), a small plastic bag with a measuring tape, and a small plastic bag with (2) plugs, (1) plug removal tool, and (1) inflation adapter. There is no country of origin marked on the ball itself. The main bag and the two small bags are marked "Made in China", so I assume the ball is made in China.

(4) My ball was free of grease and dirt.

(5) I've seen listings that stated that the package is supposed to include multiple inflation adapters. Mine came with only one. It did not fit my electric compressor (for auto...
