Present Moments: The Unbound Soul is a very interesting piece of literature. It begins in an autobiographical manner with the author relating stories from his youth. At first, he is petrified by "God" as he understands the concept of God through the religious perspectives of other people.
One thing that emerges to the forefront when he places a gun to his head in a martial arts class exercise and attempts to press the trigger – disregarding if the weapon is off regardless – is the fact that as he goes through his teenage years and young adult life, he is increasingly disheartened and frustrated, becoming secretly suicidal. This is a point that is brought to everyone's attention when he does this. His instructor of martial arts is humiliated and explains that this was supposed to be a training exercise to teach students that they should never follow commands without question. The trigger was not active any longer. He came to have an even stronger conviction that he ought to terminate his life, and he started getting ready for his suicide by penning a letter to his loved ones before he did it.
At this very instant in time, he had his very first profound insight into the heavenly...

P. G. Sundling: I bought this book as research because I have a character who achieves enlightenment in my book series. Not only did this book help with the original objective, but it provided practical tips on practical meditation techniques that I found useful. It's documented medical fact that medication can have health benefits, so I'm glad I purchased this book.
The first time I read this book, I was unable to finish it. I would not recommend reading this casually over a long period of time. Understanding the undertaking requires new words, and not all of the terminology meanings were in the glossary in the end. I recommend reading the book in a short period of time. It's not particularly long, so that's easily achievable.
The book begins with his personal journey to enlightenment, the realizations he had, and how he combined training from multiple disciplines to create his approach. I've had a few visions that went beyond words at about the same age, so some of his experiences rang very true to me. I'd forgotten about my own mystical experiences. In Chapter 19, he talks about the Truth or Lie game. That does seem to be a good icebreaker way of getting people to share their...

Katheryn Hope: I am well into this book in one sitting! It’s an easy read and the author is very down to Earth in his descriptions of his experiences. He does not have the depth of an author such as Wayne Dyer or the aesthetic writing of other spiritual authors but it’s a fascinating read and a message we need in these times.

Lou Hart: I have just finished reading the Unbound Soul, and I know that over the coming years my copy will become well worn, as I dive back into its depths again and again. I have never read a book that teaches such solid, wise, techniques for accessing the deepest truth within. I am forever changed by and eternally grateful for picking this book, and would recommend it to anyone seeking light on the path of human existence.

Tracey Madeley: When I read non-fiction books I expect them to be informative and tell me something I don’t know. I don’t think this book went far enough. There is a lot of sensible advice, meditation, relaxation, letting go of the materialistic outlook, but it has all been said before. The anecdotal evidence is alright, but not really that inspiring. I’m a little underwhelmed.

J. G. Caunter: On the topic personal profound spiritual visions, around 1 year ago I was a hardened atheist when I accidentally entered the spirit world and met a dragon god. She very definitely is not of the physical plane (though I have subsequently had physically interactions with her right here in the physical plane, as in IRL). She has her own identity, emotions, desires, and goals, what Ruchard would call 'of the mind', and she is very willing to do some dark things to send a message or get stuff done.
After meeting her, my psychic abilities began opening up and other dragons started coming to me. The dragons I have met so far are extremely emotional and willful, and they are very interested in procreative activities. They are overwhelmingly powerful spiritual beings, and do share amazingly intense love with me, so intense that when it's focused on me it feels like my soul is burning, but they don't really match Richard's discription of the unbound soul, one who exists solely in the state of unconditioned love.
So I'd say from the things that are hqppening to me personally now that while Richard's message is extremely good, it may not be completely applicable to everyone,...
