I can scarcely believe that I own a Bible like this. It's something you want to get early in life and use it until you have no life. It's truly beautiful, and the supple goatskin leather cover makes it a pleasure to hold and to smell. I wanted a genuine leather Bible so that it would lay open easily and not close on itself. It does that. The paper is pure Quality with a capital Q The 9.5 font is smaller than I would like, but it is dark black on the white pages, and easy to read. I was hoping to get a large=print Bible and investigated a number of them, but what they call large-print is actually only between an 11.5 and 12 font, maybe 12.5. That's not large print. It does not have thumb page-finders but honestly, I've had them, and they're not worth it. Your Bible ends up looking years older than it is when the pages get frayed from the thumb page-finders. And here's a little piece of advice: do not waste your time or money on those DIY indexes. The pages to which they get attached rip quickly, and when you are through taping them back on, your bible looks like it came from a yard sale -- in 1903. This is a Study Bible and then some. This bible is so beautiful, well made and font is very clear and decent size. The imitation leather and stitching are well made and crafted. Has concordance and beautiful maps in back. Study references at the bottom of each page. Act 8:37 is included as well. (about Eunuch and hum confessing Jesus is the Son of God, before he was baptized ) most translations exclude this verse and 15 more verses, about Jesus. BE CAREFUL with alot of the newer translations concerning this. I was skeptical 🫤 not buying NKJV since it's in that translation. BUT NEW AMERICAN STANDARD. Didn't disappoint. And of course. HUGE study Bible. Hardcover Gray with comfort print (easier to read). Lots of useful articles such as where we got the Bible. When I received the Bible I started reading it at about 2:00PM and became so interested in the format and information and commentaries on the bottom of the pages that I forgot the time. Was shocked to find out it was after midnight and I was still reading. Excellent Bible Study Bible. Many charts defining various times. Each Book has extensive introduction showing Title, author and date Background and setting, historical and theological themes and an outline of the individual Book. Color maps in rear which I have used in my Bible Study classes to explain the Land of twelve tribes and the cities of refuge and other lessons. Commentaries on each page so no need to changing over to look up verses in other commentary books. Highly recommend This Bible. Have only had this Bible for a month so am still learning the various parts. Pastor John MacArthur is the general editor and author of the articles. Are you new to Bible Study?, I recommend this Bible to help explain huge amounts of information as you learn.

Has everything that you would like to have in a study bible. The translation chosen (NASB) is acknowledged to be among the most accurate. The notes by Dr. MacArthur are simple and informative without being overwhelming. If you sincerely study this study bible without referring to anything else, you are sure to emerge as a person knowledgeable in the study of the Bible. The comfort print is really fantastic and is a pleasure to look at and read. Just go for it if you are a serious student of the holy scriptures. Most strongly recommended !!!

This is a very good bible possibly the best study bible I have ever owned. Although as a Pentecostal, I do not share Pastor John's interpretation that the gifts of the Holy Spirit have ceased (1 Corinthians 12), his general explanation of the scriptures overall is outstanding. I have understood parts of the bible I found challenging previously. God bless him.
