Chris T.: The scriptural references in this book, and the personality of Benjamin Watson that flowed from its pages were amazing. I enjoyed every single page, my only complaint is that I finished it too fast. Perfect book for all fathers to live by and learn from. It also led me to Benjamin and his wife's podcasts regarding faith in everyday life/parenthood. I find them to be people worthy of emulation, with regard to their openness with their faith to their parenting.

Nick Morrow: I really enjoyed the way Benjamin Watson correlated this book to being a part of a team. This books describes how we as dads can pull our own weight throughout the pregnancy while our wives are stuck doing the heavy lifting. I'm going to be a first time dad, and more than anything I appreciated the perspective that Watson gives about getting involved and how to be a a great husband through this experience. Definitely a solid read!

Adelle: I decided to read this as my wife recently told me she was pregnant. I’m not a big reader but I enjoyed this book. Great examples and explanations of things that will occur during pregnancy. I learned a lot about what women go through and it has helped me be more supportive towards my wife during pregnancy. I love that he keeps it real and does not make it seem like he’s the perfect dad. He admits his shortcomings and talks about how he got through them. Great book. Easy read. Highly recommend.

C. E. Lang: There is not a lot of literature out there for men in relation to becoming a father and having a pregnant wife. This book explained things in a fairly light hearted way using comparisons to NFL however wasn't afraid to get into the nitty gritty areas which a lot of men (myself included) are loathe to visit. Would highly recommend

Candice Johnson: Gave an easy-to-read perspective from a dad’s point of view that doesn’t end up turning men into these helpless “babysitters” who don’t really know how to care for their own wife and children.

MW: I've read four different "pregnancy for dads" themed books and this was my least favorite of the four.
It is written by a religious NFL player and while the references to God etc are not overbearing they are fairly persistent throughout the book. A reader in the USA with an interest in the NFL (particularly a religious one) might love this, but outside of this you might like to start with some of the other similar books such as We're Pregnant! The First Time Dad's Pregnancy Handbook or The Expectant Father: The Ultimate Guide for Dads-to-Be .
So You're Going to be a Dad: 20th Anniversary Edition is also quite good as it gives an Australian perspective too - mentioning things like private health insurance etc.

Matthew: There is no shortage of books out there about parenting, though there aren't as many written for fathers. Mr. Watson does a phenomenal job filling a gap. This book isn't too scientific, though he does take time to detail some things that are going on with your partner, as well as what to expect as the father. I mostly appreciated the spiritual component. Pregnancy can often seem as a methodical, clinical process and he does a great job detailing emotional and spiritual needs/demands. I would greatly encourage anyone who is experiencing a pregnancy to check this resource out.
The only negative I can say is that it's pretty heavy on the sports metaphors. I'm a sports guy so I understood them, but I can see where it could trip someone up who doesn't follow them. But it's a pretty minor point and in no way takes away from what he wrote.

Destiny: Perfect book for first timers or just in general. The father of my soon to be child absolutely loves it. It helps that the lingo is one that sports lovers, especially football, can understand. I highly recommend!
