Michele Van Wyk: I read this book to my children over twenty five ago. Just bought it for my first grandchild and it’s even more relevant today! The illustrations are beautiful and each picture tells its own story. Will definitely purchase again.

Annmarie: My daughter who is 9 absolutely loved this book. A real eye opener into the reality of capitalism and materialism. Shame us adults don't change. The world would be such a peaceful place without arrogance and greed of narracistic people. Money doesn't make any of us a better or good person. I'm glad my children believe in themselves enough to know most of the world is filed with selfish people and they choose to be good kind peoe. They know at such a young age who they are. They did cry when they told me aboyt how they felt after reading the book.

Gwen Rowe: I have used this as a read aloud in class, and also reading with a small class. It is such a wonderful book that I just bought a copy for my niece. I was reminded of it when her father said she wants to be “canopy scientist” when she grows up.

liebedasleben: My children absolutely adore this book. We live a very healthy, conscious lifestyle and this books is ideal to accompany our lifestyle - it answers many questions as to why we do or not do certain things and makes children aware, without shocking them, about what is going on and that we have to take care of nature!
