My kids chew on the straws a lot so they do get slightly misshapen but not enough that they can't be used anymore.

S.L.: I used these to teach my baby how to drink from a straw when the pipette method didn't work. These cups squeeze a little and allow.watwr to go up the straw, so baby quickly caught on and learned to suck the water out.

Niko: These sort of take and toss cups used to be everywhere, but now I can hardly find them at all. I wonder if people thought they were wasteful because of the "toss" in the name, but we sanitize and reuse them and have yet to throw any out (and if we did we'd recycle them). It's a shame, these are perfect for the kiddos. Thanks!

Kindle Customer: Really wish straws could come separately and/or more straws

Roschawn: I was looking for reusable spill proof cups that can be washed and used again and again. These cups came 4 in a pack for $3.99, that was such a great price I brought 4 of them. When I first saw these cups I thought they were perfect; 10oz. spill proof lids with removable straws. Not to much or too little for our drinks during light breakfast in our children's ministry. However, the straw is hard to push through and you can only fill the cup less than half way because once you close the lid with the straw in it the liquid will come up through the straw.
I tried both ways: 1. lid on cup first then push straw through and 2. push straw through lid first then press lid on cup... Both ways have the liquid coming through the straw. It was so annoying, after pouring the orange juice in the cup, I had to put the lid and straw on over the sink because the juice would always come up through the straw.
Any who, I do still love these cups and they are spill proof once you get over the lid and straw situation. They are easy to clean and we will continue using them for our children's ministry.

MOOSE: I honestly don't dislike anything about these cups. I would not consider these cups leak proof, but I don't even care. Any cup I have ever bought that said leak proof has never been 100% leak proof. My kids always find a way to get liquid out of any cup so to me there is no such thing is leak proof and I have accepted that lol. These take and toss cups are amazing because they are super easy to clean whether you wash them by hand or put them in the dishwasher. They hold up for a long time and to have a cup that is dirt cheap and long lasting is fabulous if you ask me. I have never had them crack on me which is a huge plus because other cups that I have bought that are the same style but like a harder plastic have cracked and have never lasted as long as these take and toss. I absolutely hate losing cups or forgetting them somewhere because a lot of cups you spend a decent amount of money on them, that you don't want to keep replacing those cups over and over again. I don't get mad if one of these cups happen to get forgotten somewhere because I don't feel like I just waisted $8-$15 dollars. It is less then $3 for 4 cups! Also, the little straws that come with the cups are sturdy...

AllisonAllison: These straw cups are similar to the ones that restaurants give out with the kid’s drinks. They are thick enough and sturdy enough to keep and reuse, but inexpensive enough that if you loose one, it’s no big deal. There are three small things that make these cups less than perfect:
The lids do not have a tiny air hole in them. The cup with the lid on is so “air tight” that as you drink out of it, air is unable to get into the cup to fill the growing empty space. That creates a suction effect and makes it really hard to drink through the straw. A way to solve this is by poking a very small air hole in the top of the lid. (Cup lids usually have a tiny hole in them; these do not). There is a small dimple in the center of the lid, and you can use a sharp tool to poke a small air hole there. I used an awl on a cutting board to poke a tiny hole, and then a turkey skewer to make the hole a little larger.
It’s a little difficult to stick the straw into the hole because it’s so snug—but it does go in with a bit of force.
The colors are random and do not match as sets. The four cups I got are blue, green, yellow and orange; the straws are blue, green,...
