J. Jaskot: Absolutely love Chef Ryan Scott, and this book is an exuberant family cookbook and lots of fun. Definitely a bunch of recipes added to my to-make list, even if there are a few bumps along the way; ie the rice krispie treat inspired recipe tasted great, but the pan size simply didn't make sense for the recipe. But I love his attitude, he clearly loves what he does and cooking for his family, and I can't wait for more books from him.

Stacy: The book should be titled “moderate fuss”. I got it because it seemed to promise easy family meals that were kid friendly. I don’t necessarily think that’s true. Recipes are fine as far as food goes. But if I have to make my own dressings, i certainly wouldn’t title it NO fuss. Recipes definitely require a moderate amount of fuss.
But more than that, the amount of narrative in this book is insane. If I wanted to read a novel with every recipe I’d have printed off some food blogs.

Darlene Desjardins: Not impressed. Marketed as no rush and didn't live up to that .

Jo K: I read through and marked more than half of the book for the future days when I'll be wondering what to cook for the family. Just made Dal-lish-ous lentils with ginger, garlic, and tomatoes. There were lots of ingredients that went into the dish, so it was a bit involved. I am making it on Saturday, so I have something for the coming week for an easy lunch. I enjoy cooking and this book gives me joy by giving me something delicious and nutritious for me to cook. I am excited because I know I'll be using this cookbook regularly instead just looking at the pretty pictures. Only wish that the font was larger. Bri: I am so glad there's so many pictures!!! I am the type of person who NEEDS pictures. I cannot stand when there's a cookbook with no or too few pictures. The book is beautiful and so sweet with the family. With that said, I dont personally consider most of the recipes "no fuss." That's what really intrigued me because I am always trying to find cookbooks with simple easy to do meals but for my world, most of these are too involved to be no fuss. But I understand that for a professional chef, these may be considered no fuss. I give it 5 stars though because it has so many pictures and it's beautifully put together. Also, I may keep it still because the recipes look good but the jury is still out for me. I definitely recommend it to try though.

Village_Idiot: Bought this hoping for a simple family friendly cookbook with recipes that a busy family would actually have time to prepare. But this is just another cookbook full of unrealistic recipes that you’d have to be a stay at home Instagram mom to have the time for.
