Kae: The Dude Diet recipes are easy to make and are full of flavor. My family is actually eating more veggies because they are part of these delicious recipes. My family's favorites, so far, are Sheet Pan Sausage and Cauliflower Pitas, Pad Thai Quinoa, Pulled Pork Tostadas, and Greek Steak Skillet with Tzatziki.

Amazon Customer: I'm a big Dude Diet and Serena Wolf fan and this cookbook is wonderful! I have cooked many recipes from both this and her first cookbook and have discovered a ton of family favorites that are now in our regular rotation. The recipes lean towards healthy but are all easy to make and insanely flavorful. It's exactly how we try to cook on a weekly basis so this has been a great resource for weeknight dinners (although there are plenty of fancier recipes included as well!). Some favorites are the BBQ Turkey Stuffed Sweet Potatoes, Indian Spiced Chicken Stew, and Lemon Orzo Skillet with Chicken and Artichoke. We love the Scallop and Couscous recipe when we're feeling fancy! The book has beautiful pictures of the majority of the recipes which I appreciate too! My cooking game and confidence level in the kitchen have both increased since following Serena on social media, taking her wonderful live cooking classes, and using her cookbooks. If nothing else I have learned how to make the perfect batch of quinoa (hint: the packages lie to you!), but there is so much more! Highly recommend her book for both beginner cooks and more advanced chefs!

S. Berg: I'm very picky about cookbooks. I'm not a fan of recipes that call for 1 cup of a can of pureed tomatoes - I want you to create a recipe that uses the entire can so that I don't have to dirty my measuring cup, a rubber scraper, and a storage container for the rest of the can that will sit in my fridge until clean-out day when it's found moldy and sad.

Serena's recipes are thoughtful in this way. She's also thoughtful about telling you *how much* salt and pepper to put in the recipe. Seasoning with salt and pepper "to taste" is lazy recipe writing. There's a baseline of seasoning a recipe should have, and I'd like to know what that is and then I can add more salt if my tastes prefer it saltier. Those who need low sodium already know to cut down the recommended measurements.

Serena is also thoughtful when instructing you how to prepare the ingredients/dish. For example, the Boss Brussels Sprouts Salad lets you know how to cut those Brussels sprouts that are larger. She understands that the recipe cooks better if you do it a certain way and she lets you know in her recipe instructions.

Aside from those hangups I have about recipe construction and how she isn't...

I am obsessed with this book. Not only are the recipes delicious and so easy that my husband volunteers to cook dinner but Serena has also managed to make a cookbook literally laugh-out-loud funny. It’s relatable and extremely approachable if you’re a beginner like my dude who also thought burritos were healthy or an avid “healthy” food lover like myself.
If you’re on the fence about purchasing this book, you won’t regret it ! And while you’re at it, give her first book a try too. I’m equally obsessed with the original Dude Diet.

SairSair: Sorry for the picture of partly eaten Hot Hawaiian Quinoa Bake but I could not keep my husband out of this. The flavour was amazing, the recipe was easy to follow, the dish was fun and not our normal, what more can you ask for? I took Serena’s pizza recommendation last month when I was in NYC and loved it so much I knew the girl had good taste buds. I was excited to get her cookbook and it does not disappoint. BUY IT.
