Alain Nzita: We always read the Bible, but this is a new level of understanding. In terms of our belief in GOD, I found it very useful in our journey on earth. As a result of these commentaries, this holy scripture is so amazingly understood to the point where I had to devote time to search for this element that had been missing from my reading of the Bible. One by one, I bought each book of the Bible until I had all of them. These commentaries provide an in-depth analysis of the text of the Bible, breaking down difficult concepts and making them easier to understand. They also provide historical context, which can help people to better understand the message of scripture. Those books constitute my wealth. Thank you for making these available to those who are interested in learning more about God's word and improving their understanding of it.

Eugenia Lesiuk: Really like the translation but appreciate the commentaries in the notes .In the back it shows time-line in the back as well as what the original land size was, far bigger than now.

CharlesCharles: An amazing first Chumash to learn from, beautiful work and layout. My copy from Amazon was unfortunately missing 50 pages of Haftaros, otherwise I would have given 5 star and highly recommended the purchase.

Note: Actual verses , Hebrew text, commentaries, quotes, instructions are clearly shown by using different font styles and sizes. Commentaries font fize - small.

Jon C.: The design and layout are good. Very colorful and detailed appendix. Very good high-resolution graphics used. The text is easy to read. I did not have to pull out my magnifying glass to read it. It came an easy to open packaging that Customs was able to open and close without damaging the book. The cover art is well embossed. Inside, you will find two ribbons to mark your place in the book. Comes in handy when comparing a couple of passages that are in separate places of the book. Due to the impending postal strike at the time I placed my order, Amazon.ca was able to solve the shipping dilemma and the book arrived very quickly. I was pleasantly surprised by the lower price of new versus second-hand.
The one important thing I found that the book was lacking was a good comprehensive index. A worthwhile suggestion for the book would be instructions on how to use their index as it is not your normal index. Another suggestion would be more instructions on how the book is organized. If this edition came in a digital format, I would prefer it alongside the bound book. The book alone is over five pounds. The pages are very thin and prone to damage.
