Cliente Amazon: Jane nunca defrauda

NPNP: The book jacket has two deep scratches on the front along with what looks like oily finger marks.

Cathe B.: This book gave me so many solid facts about our environment and the changes that are happening.

It is such a candid look into Jane’s life and purpose.
I love her honesty and her UNDYING HOPE for our future.

It has made more aware of my own garden, yard, and recycling practices. Through her enlightenment, I will share her thoughts and hope to try to encourage others to be more mindful of our planet!!
Thanks for such a wonderful journey of hope!!!

Amazon Customer: I started reading this on my Kindle before I realized it had a lot of great quotes and parts I wanted to refer back to as I plan a professional development week for teachers. So I bought a hard copy for myself and another for a friend.

Meatball: Like many, I was jaded and sceptical about our ability to turn things around. I am an environmental scientist by training and so should have no excuses. This book started predictably and then started to turn me around, Jane's approach and philosophy while seemingly simple is actually profound and based on direct and indirect experience. I cannot recommend this book highly enough if you need a boost of hope and inspiration to do more yourself.
I have started.

Yani Flores-R: The book was in great shape, and I didn’t realize I ordered a hardcover. The pages are intact and there are no bends or written marks.
The books content is a wonderful explanation of Hope. Much to learn and much to accomplish for our Mother Earth as human beings.
Thank you for your words of encouragement J. G. The world has been blessed to have you around.

cfwoodward: Although it seems like eons ago now, a presidential contender began his campaign with one word:

HOPE.

He not only captured the attention of the nation, but our world. What was so special about this message? How could such a small word make such a monumental impact?

Cut to 2020, where Jane Goodall and Douglas Abrams take their own crack at defining this abstract concept in a time where Hope is needed more desperately than ever before...and they absolutely succeed!

The Book of Hope is one of many in a Global Icons series started by Abrams, where he has spoken with such prolific minds as the Dalai Lama and Desmond Tutu to explore the concept of Joy, and here turns to the world's most famous naturalist to break down the components of what makes hope function. You may know Jane best for her work with chimpanzees, but after reading this book, you will be shocked, stunned, and thoroughly inspired by the breadth of Jane's work throughout the world, from her charity Roots and Shoots, to her fascinating arsenal of stories from all corners of the globe and all walks of life. She is able to sum up her thoughts by exploring her Four Reasons for Hope and breaks this...
