Momof3: My colleagues apparently read me like a book last spring! My second language of appreciation is gifts and even though no one at work had read this book, they picked the perfect way to tell me thank you. I purchased one for my boss and will be giving it to him as a thank-you as well! I really hope he is able to find some special ways to tell my colleagues thank you in meaningful ways! I plan to use this for the remainder of my life!!! Incredible knowledge to have!!!

Daniel V. RusteenDaniel V. Rusteen: Summary: How workplace productivity is dominated by an unseen metric: the level of appreciation each employee feels from other employees and their superiors. I'm giving it 5 stars because, as a manager, this idea is a good one and one I needed to read about right now as I grow my team.
