It is has some minor issues but i have to give it full stars, and I will explain why.
For a very long time I tried free websites, i tried books, i tried everything i could think off to teach my kids spanish. Nothing worked, or it was simply too hard for them to understand and they would lose interest in learning. This book is not perfect, it has a few issues but it is super easy to follow, has great flow and is 99% accurate. It fails in the explanation area a bit, it could use a bit more explaining and certain words are a bit odd...like cake, which is labeled as "torta" and maybe that is used in Spain, but in all latin america the word is "pastel". The verb "llevar" meaning to take, is labeled as to get dressed, when really its "vestir" Other than that everything seems ok.
It is simple enough that with little guidance and supervision my kids are actually learning pretty fast and i expect them to be capable of fluent basic spanish in just about 4 months of practice. I would highly recommend this book. My kids are 10 and 12. I would suggest using google translate or something else to learn alphabet sounds as they help in pronouncing the words correctly.

This book is deceptively complete. It looks super simple, which is great, because that makes it not intimidating. I have used this booklet several times to get new students' feet wet, but really it teaches an amazing amount of conceptual material. Students who complete this book and then go on to a "real" textbook find that they can breeze through the first hundred pages of a textbook because they've already internalized so much by doing this little green book!!
