Benji: Number second for example is rushed and missing some (imo) important information.
Over all it does give you a fun way to expand your vocabulary knowledge:)

It definitely good to use to get a basic understanding of the language.

amusik: This book is really well thought through, I can't recommend it enough.
It teaches you useful Japanese words that also reveal Japanese culture - it's a totally different type of resource compared to a dictionary where you don't really have much else to do than just look up words.
I highly recommend downloading the audio files as instructed on page 96 - this helps you review the content MUCH better. Just open the audio file and let it roll while you study page, and call out the words out loud with the track. This helps you very quickly review tons of vocabulary and avoid pronunciation mistakes that you could easily develop if you only read the "romaji" versions of the words.

John & Michelle King: This is a great book for people who want to learn Japanese from scratch. I love how it has phrases for everyday use! It is great for teaching yourself how to speak Japanese with no help. The audio recordings are really useful, too.

J: If your intetested in learning Japanese or already know few basic japanese, this is the book. The audio link doesnt work, but the book as such is very informative, colourful. It is extremely important to hear the Japanese pronunciations as it is very different. I used the google translator to hear the pronunciations. I hope the Audio book link could actually work.

Warwick Manning: Bought this book because I found Genki 1 a bit boring and I'm a visual learner. Reading 2 pages every morning and night has really improved my vocabulary. The audio that comes with it (download online with the link) is great too.
