TETON Sports Vista Quick-Pitch Tent: Perfect for Camping and Backpacking

BW: This is my second time buying this tent. When you're tired, there's nothing like setting up a tent in two minutes. It has a clipable rain guard that acts as a windbreaker and provides some extra insulation. Also, the black upper mesh lets some air through, but the holes aren't big enough for small bugs.

J. Wu: Really quick and easy setup and takedown, as expected. Could be slightly improved if the clips for the rainfly were color coordinated so you could match them up more easily.

Lots of space inside the tent. Reasonably small when folded up. (We have another similar pop up tent that uses the string pull to setup/expand. Both are the 2 person version. This tent is slightly larger space when setup but also slightly smaller when folded up.)

Really great to have 2 doors (a lot of other pop up tents I looked at only have one door). Can have lots of ventilation if needed and both people can get out easily without disturbing the other person.

Gabriel: It is so easy to set up and take down. The only thing is, it does get hot when you put the rain fly. But i knew this when buying it. So I suggest buying clips to attach to spread it further and also different stakes. But overall it’s a cool ass tent man. So easy to set up, I live in Hawaii it gets humid, and rains when it wants to. So I do suggest getting those clips to give more breathable space if you have the rain fly on . And would I buy again? Yes, would, for the price and mine I’ve tested many times, it is waterproof. I’ve had no problems. But I’ll keep you posted, but right now, awesome for how quick and easy it is. Just gotta get you some extras to make it better. And I did want to mention I was looking at another tent 3 times the price, it’s more a gimmick kinda thing, but loved it. “Tenton” please should ,😉 personally I do believe if they do a single person tent with 2 doors and a vistabule on each side, it would kill the market right now. I would happily pay the price difference. Like I said this tent is cool for the money. I’m not using the cot, and no water has been coming in. Guys please, 2 doors and an option to do the rain fly...

JW: This is a great tent. The quality is superior and extremely underpriced for what you get. This can be set up in moments and used with the large camp cot by Teton or other brands. I have over 150 trips on this tent and the only sign of wear it has is from a tear on the side where I cut it with a knife by accident. It’s holding up extremely well. It’s still waterproof since I coat all my gear once a year. Although it isn’t rated for it, it held up during a snow storm that wasn’t in the forecast. It has also survived 50mph winds sustained. Great tent and definitely under rated.

Sam Hoover: The tent arrived in a box that hadn't been previously opened. The tent was in new condition with no evidence of previous ownership. Used the tent this past weekend and it performed perfectly. We had 2 nights in the 30's and inside the tent was roughly 10-15 degrees warmer, but for a non- four season tent, that wasn't terrible. It is a little short, I'm 6ft and could touch one end with my feet and the other with my head, repositioning the legs of the tent gave a little more room, removing the constant contact. The only gripe I have about the tent is the amount of condensation that builds up on the rainfly and there's not much of a way to remove the fly without some water dripping through the screen into the tent. All in all, for a tent that takes 1-3 minutes to set up, if you use the stakes and fly, it's a quick start to a weekend. One item I would like to see added is a light diffusing pocket for a head lamp. The overhead storage works, but a headlamp just falls over if there's anything else in the overhead storage.

JPDicko: Love this little tent. Fits great on my Darche XL100 stretcher bed. Its spot on for the price quality wise. Love the speed and convenience of set up. I'm 6'1" tall and find the tent fine for length. An inch or two taller and you'll be touching the sides.
