MeeMee: This sleeping bag has great quality, it’s thick and warm. Although it’s a mummy sleeping bag, I still get a bit of wiggling room inside. I also love that it could wrap around my head and even covering parts of my forehead, keeps me cozy and warm.

NS_Hiker: This sleeping bag is just what I was looking for. Love the mummy bag, the inside pocket is a nice feature for my phone and keeping the water filter from freezing.
I was aware that the weight would be a bit heavier than I like but the bag is cozy and will keep me warm much better than my old bag. I would buy this sleeping bag for other family members and recommend it to friends!

Deioo: This thing is a beast from all points of view. It’s quite massive, easily fills 1/3 of an 85l rucksack. It’s not too heavy, so that’s a plus.

But in terms of quality, A+++. 4-5C you don’t even need to zip it up, -5 just slept with at-shirt and a light fleece, no issues, it could go way below that with some extra clothes.

If you don’t care much about the size, this is an amazing piece of kit for the price

DanDan: For starters, this bag is an excellent value and a very nicely made product. I am also a huge fan of TETON products and own an Explorer 4000 pack. I've tested this bag down to -5 F inside of a hot tent and survived somewhat comfortably (really warm until the stove went out). My sleep system on that test consisted of a lightweight cot, closed-cell foam mat, inflatable pad (R-value of 4.5), sleeping bag liner, an inflatable pillow, and the LEEF 0F bag. Additionally, I wore appropriate base layers, was well hydrated, and had a warm meal with tea before bed. The temperatures that night ranged from a low of -5F at 1 AM to a high of about 4F at 6 AM. I am aware that -5F is below the rating for this bag, but it still performed well.

I say I survived somewhat comfortably because the bag would come open during normal tossing and turning in the night, letting in some cold air that would wake me up. I would then re-seal the bag and drift back to sleep. I had the zipper all the way closed and the velcro strap secured, too. I think it kept coming open due to the bag being a bit snug around my shoulders. I am of a larger build at 6' and 215 pounds and I purchased the regular size. The...

Hunter Cram: Hey everyone! Now if you are debating on whether to buy this or not, I strongly suggest you do. I have multiple bags for backpacking and winter camping and this one does it’s job and more. It says you can sleep comfortably in 30 degrees but I slept comfortably in 10, granted I’m 5’8 with the 6’ bag. It even sleeps well in warm weather, it stays at the perfect temperature in the bag and it’s so hard to get out of in the morning. Although there is a few improvements that would make this so much better! The zipper on the side… it’s a dual sided zipper and it’s quite small, on my North face wasatch 55 degree bag, the zipper is big and very easy to zip, the zipper on this bag is too easy to unzip( not too easy though) but it’s quite difficult to zip it up while inside. But it’s a really nice comfortable bag with lots of space. Very trusted brand and I love the compressible bag

Amazon Customer: Made this purchase to replace my old bag that was literally coming apart after 25 years of use. The bag has some pros and cons.

Pros: Price is good and equivalent to bag quality. I do not feel I have been ripped off at all like with some purchases (we all have those). It’s warm- I’ve used it in 30 degree weather half dozen times and I was comfortable. Keep in mind I sleep with base layer thermals on, wool socks, pad with mid-range r-value, thin bag liner, and sometimes a beanie hat, so those make a huge difference. If you plan on throwing it right on the cold ground and stripping to your underwear you could very well have a different experience. My most recent trip it dipped into the 40’s and I was kicking the bag off and had to take the liner out and lower base later off to cool off, so I think the bag is plenty warm and could go lower than the 30’s with a good sleep system and layers on you. The zipper works fine. Stuff sack has held up great so far. Nice little pocket on top of inside the sleeping bag for phone etc.

Cons: It’s heavy and bulky. This is not an issue for car camping but for backpacking it weighs over twice what more expensive down bags...
