NT: This worked perfectly once I realized I needed to flip a switch in the room to turn on the plugs. Travel is an adventure in every way. This is a must have that handled a blow dryer and then a flat iron without a problem as well as my cell phone.

Henry Paris: I bought this adapter before going to Ireland and the UK. It was great, especially for charging digital devices. This adapter is solidly built and sturdy; I expect it to last a long while and stand up to travel abuse. I also bought a VINTAR adapter because it had a USB C output for charging digital devices, but it didn't have as many two-prong appliance outlets. The TESSAN is the way to go if you travel with several personal appliances (hair drier, curling iron, etc.).

M. Rowe: This is a fantastic little ADAPTER when traveling from the U.S. to the United Kingdom. The 3 USB ports made it super easy to charge my PHONE and KINDLE! I used the main electrical outlet port for my C-PAP at night. (You don't need a converter for C-PAP, phone, Kindle, etc., just the adapter.)

Just FYI, if you are bringing a U.S. 120V small appliance like a hair dryer, flat iron, etc. - YOU WILL NEED A CONVERTER in addition to an adapter. U.K. voltage is 220V and will fry your hair appliances.
