Ally: I usually buy the healthiest, most species-appropriate kibble I can afford for my pets but figured plenty of cats have lived for decades on the cheap stuff, so I decided to save myself some money this time. Well, turns out my cat is obsessed. He has now taken to screaming while I prepare the dog's food to inform me that he wants it, and he wants it now. He eats the whole bowl immediately, while he previously would graze throughout the day. This is a former street cat who would really prefer to eat a squirming rodent ass first, so he has never really loved kibble, but this one he can apparently get behind. I got a small bag just to try, but I guess I'll be buying a larger bag now.

William F. Nappi: The cats don’t prefer this over the Temptations treat snacks. I didn’t know why so I tasted it for myself... kidding. However as I mentioned my finicky friends go for the 9 Lives dry food that comes in larger bags, up to 28 lbs. and I find that to be a far greater value as the cats primary reason for even existing seems to be for eating, eating, playing, sleeping then eating some more. They have killed my surplus income supply but I still like them.
The point is that they eat this sometimes. I think it is the neighborhood ferals that sneak in and hide that eat the bulk of this. They’re not as fussy; they’ll eat anything and this tends to remain in the food dishes more than any other kind I give them except one, but that is another review for another day.

Brittney Culbertson: My year old female cat was only eating 9lives cat food for the first year of her life because it’s all the dollar store had in stock, and she would puke a couple times a week. I took her to my sisters house and my sister tried feeding her this super expensive cat food but she wouldn’t eat it because it looked and tasted different. I decided to buy MeowMix because it was a little more expensive but still affordable and she has only thrown up one time since the first bag I got her 2 months ago, and that was because she tried to eat a baby mole and she threw it up. She is a very small adult cat. I think it’s because of the food I gave her during her first year. I should have come to you first.
