TECCPO 100-Piece Heavy-Duty Tire Plug Kit for Tire Repair

Johnny Vegas: I bought this four years ago after getting a flat on a road trip 50 miles from a shop, and discovering that my valve stem on my spare was leaky. I used it today for the first time. I expected it to include rubber cement, and the included instructions even say to use "the included rubber cement" for a longer lasting repair. It did not include rubber cement. I was able to make the repair, and we'll see in the morning if it worked. But, I will have to take it in to get a proper repair, or buy rubber cement and redo the repair, which is frustrating. Also the included tire pressure gauge is useless. Fortunately I have a reliable gauge other than this one. I paid half of what this is selling for now. I'd be pretty annoyed if I paid the current price.

ashain: This tire repair kit is stored in my MX-5's trunk because car has no spare tire, Mazda choosing to use run flat tires to maintain trunk space and light weight. This is a well packaged item with everything needed, and then some, to patch a tire. Hope never to use the TECCPO tire Repair Kit but happy to have it stored for emergency.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: A lot of value for the money. I just installed a plug in a tire that picked up a screw and put it through the soapy water test. As you can see from the photo, no bubbles means no leak.
This is the second tire repair kit that I have purchased. The first was almost the same as this one except that it came with black plugs. I returned it after trying to patch the same hole and failing the soapy water test.
This kit comes with thicker red plugs. The tools in this kit have a plastic coating and comes with cheap gloves that definitely help you grip the tools.
Tips:
Don't try to install a plug before you use the reamer to penetrate the steel belt as you might break the inserter tool.
Use the lubricant as thicker plugs require more force to insert.
Drive the inserter tool straight in. The two prongs on the inserter tool are thin and can be broken.
Clean the plug residue from the tools with isopropyl alcohol.

I just used for the first time today (February 3, 2021) to fix a flat caused by a screw on by 2004 Nissan Sentra. Holding tire pressure so far.
