Fitted to outside doors on my shed and garage. Although cheap they are fairly sturdy and well made. The screws are not so good. I replace mine with new screws.

These are hollow fairly thin gauge stamped metal. I wouldn't use them on anything larger than a small door or gate. They are comfortable and well sized.

We installed a number of these both inside and outside our cabin. My nonagenarian father uses them as grab bars since he has no balance when he walks. The screws that come with the handles are short so we had to use our own long screws since the handles are being used as grab bars. The color and look blends well with our log cabin walls and you don't even notice the handles, but they are very useful and convenient.
