Amazon Customer: I needed a new weatherproof outlet cover for our 50 amp electrical service for our RV. When I searched for "50 amp outdoor electrical cover in use", the Taymac MX7200 pops up. Since I already had the outlet, just needed to replace the weatherproof cover, this item looked like the perfect match. Cover is made of heavy grade metal with no sharp edges and is painted nicely. However, my 50 amp RV plug won't fit into the outlet because this cover is too deep. No room for the cord to hang down allowing the cover door to close. My fault for not thorough investigating product before purchase. Nice cover if it is being used for 110V outdoor electrical cords. Just won't fit 220V/50 AMP cords.

Johanna: Very easy to install, gasket included keeps the rain out. My Christmas lights were plugged in but the weather tripped the GFI so hopefully this will keep out the weather. All that is needed is to use the 2 screws, included. Heavy duty outter metal cover. Pleasantly surprised at how easy to fix the issue.

And yes, I got the proper product, the TayMac MX3200
The only difference is the bottom of the box is now a full 'boxed end'.
Not an open slot.
My full sized RV 30 amp cord will not fit snug.
The work around is I will cut a notch on the bottom to accommodate the plug cord similar to the original shown design.
Overall, a nice sturdy lockable box.
I gave it four stars for being so sturdy and the many ways of configuring for your personal use.
But it is not the box shown even though the part number is the same.
The work around is 'easy' with a jig saw but if you don't have one or are uncomfortable cutting....
