Adam: I thought this magnetic stirrer was pricey but after using it all summer to mix pool chemicals, it's well worth it. It's a high quality product that allows me to quickly mix chemicals and do proper pool chemistry water testing with my Taylor kit. It has cut down the time it takes me to swirl vials and has been a great help during the summer months when I test sometimes multiple times a week. Highly recommend!
Tip: If you need to reach the 25 mL mark, fill the water sample to the top and then tilt the vial until the top of the water touches the top left corner and the bottom right corner at the same time.

Kevin: Other than the dead batteries I received with it this thing is perfect to use for testing pool water.

Denise O.: Works great for checking chlorine levels, total alkalinity and calcium hardness. Tube isn’t large enough to test PH but I prefer having the PH test next to the color chart on the plastic tube tester included in the Taylor K2006c kit. This really saves swirl time and I’m pleased with the purchase, especially with the tests where swirling is important.

jle: Normally something has to be very bad or very good for me to take the time to write a product review. This is a very good one. Please note I've only used it once but this one time made checking the pool SOOO much easier. I did purchase enough of the magnets and 9198 tube that I didn't have to get up and continually rinse. But just having this little handy dandy mixer was awesome. I finished checking in half the time and it was easier to watch for the specimen to change color. We also use the Taylor K2006 Salt Test kit (Pool Company recommended it) and we have had a perfect inground pool all year long. Check back because this mixer does seem a little cheap feeling (I rated 4 stars for value) but it is heavy and didn't have problems during the first use ... I'll repost if it fails anytime soon.
One note for any cloudy pool owners ... this is outside this product review but check your phosphates. Our pool store luckily had someone that lives in our area and they forewarned us about the high phosphates in our county water (we never could get above ground pools clear in the past). We purchased the phosphate test strips from Amazon and found she was right. She told us add...
