ShannonVM: I've loved Blue Diamond since I was little and we'd get mini containers of the Smokehouse flavor in our stockings each Christmas. That's still a favorite flavor, but the Wasabi & Soy Sauce is right up there with it. I couldn't pass these up when I saw the price- such a deal for 12 individual packs! I like the convenience of being able to throw a packet in my purse for those days when I'm running around and just want to have a snack. These were fresh and full of flavor.

Polka loves Polka Dancing: I bought two boxes of these when they were on a really good sale because I like salt and vinegar potato chips and I figured I probably like salt and vinegar almonds too. And they are very good. I like the packets shape, it makes them easy to take in the purse. They’re actually are a little too much of for a snack for me. I actually wish the packets were about half the size that they are. They’re very good in meetings to wake me up falling asleep. In which case I don’t need but a handful of them. So then I sort of left with half a packet that I have to keep the almonds from falling out of when I leave.

1.5 Trick Pony: I love salt and vinegar chips, but never feel full even if I eat a whole bag. (and I will!!!) I thought the idea of salt and vinegar almonds sounded gross, but was willing to give it a try. And boy they are great! They have about twice the vinegar punch of most chips, and are amazingly good, and the fat is the good kind, and you get plenty full on the almonds. Mmmmmm.
I was buying the tins (which are sometimes available at the grocery store), but then realized I couldn't stop once I opened a tin and was eating something like 1,200 calories in a single day just on almonds. So these packs are perfect - there are enough almonds to really satisfy a hungry stomach, but not so much to blow your diet. And they're great to stash when you know that you won't be able to grab a real meal, but don't want to find yourself at a vending machine or 7Eleven buying crap b/c you're so hungry. Even my (naturally thin) hubby loves them. Perfect!
