Amazon Customer: This is the best fish sauce. Hands down. I make pho almost weekly and use a lot of fish sauce. I have tried other brands in a pinch, but nothing comes close to the depth of flavor achieved with Red Boat! tdietz: I challenge you to do a taste test between Red Boat and any other fish sauce. You will be blown away. This is the fish sauce you want to be using in your cooking. The flavor is overwhelming. Other fish sauces just taste salty/fishy, this explodes with Umami and anchovy and salt. I poured out the brand-new bottle of fish sauce I had in our pantry when I did a side-by-side comparison with Red Boat.
