AzeezAzeez: The media could not be loaded. This product was used in my hidden bookcase build. The project came out very well and I have now what looks like a bookcase but is actually a hidden door. The installation process requires ensuring you have the right clearances in all places and right alignments. I have shared a video of how I built the hidden bookcase door.

KyleKyle: The media could not be loaded. Used this for a bookshelf door under my stairs. This was significantly cheaper than some of the other heavy duty shelf hinges. I took a chance because other reviews were decent, and I figured I could change it out later if I needed to.
Installation is not any harder than any other custom woodworking project, but it could be difficult if you're less experienced. It takes a lot of patience and measuring. It seems to hold the bookshelf door pretty well so far. Time will tell if there's any wear or sagging down the road. To me it was worth the savings of $30-40 vs. $150.

benben: This works as intended, seems well made. Not the easiest to install as a channel has to be cut into the door frame to accommodate the mechanism. My carpentry skills are modest. I used this item with the purchase of a hydraulic swinging hinge for the bottom of the door.
