TamBee 175-Degree Hinges for Frameless Cabinet Doors

Mr Brant: I had an existing cabinet where one of the original hinges (probably 25+ years old!) had broken and the door was hanging awkwardly and was difficult to close. Finding an exact match was difficult so I took a risk and bought these. The big hole on the door was in the right place (phew) but the smaller holes for the cabinet were not. But, with some help from someone to hold the door in the correct open position, I was able to put the supplied screws into the existing cabinet to make new holes. Much to my delight, the door fits perfectly. And, as a bonus the hinges are soft close - I wasn't expecting that. The hinges are top quality too - nice and strong.

Miss J M CoultrupMiss J M Coultrup: I thought it would be a nightmare to replace this broken hinge. I’ve only just installed it, so I can’t comment on the robustness, but this fitted almost perfectly to replace a broken hinge. My advice: take your time measuring your current hinge if replacing, to make sure you buy the correct hinge. The one I bought matched the old one with the only difference that I needed to drill new holes on the cupboard side. Use a spirit level to ensure the door is straight, and make sure the axis of the hinge is vertical in the closed and open positions. Draw your holes through the hinge, drill a pilot and insert the screws. Took me 10 mins. I’m absolutely delighted!! And they come in pairs I have a spare incase one of the others breaks :)

The Time Lord: Hinge on a corner cupboard door broke, replaced with this, had to drill some holes as not an exact fit but simple enough if you can use a drill. One star off as one hinge was missing a cover but no great problem. The soft close is very good.

GT: Bought these to replace broken one on a mirrored medicine cabinet. Measurements were dead on, however, as this particular hinge had an auto close device, getting the hinge to open so it could be installed was a B...h. The only way I could get it to open was to install it on one side and then I could pry it open. Other than the lack of instructions (the video was garbage), everything then worked fine.
