alo89: I've bought 3 of these. The first 2 were fine right out of the box. This knife replaced a 30 year old lightweight Schrade that I carried everyday forever. I originally replaced it with a big CRKT folder but this cheap knife opens really nice and has a little bit of serration that comes in handy so the CRKT went back on the shelf. The first knife I gave away to a daughter-in-law and the second knife got lost on a trip. The third knife did not flip open when I received it and I was disappointed but a little disassembly, WD-40, and reassembly and this knife is just as sweet as the others. An excellent EDC knife for $9.

Summit: I don't want to EDC one of my expensive knives for fear of losing one, so this is perfect. No, this won't hold an edge as well as an expensive name brand blade, but it's sharp enough for most daily tasks... if something comes up that needs to be done and could damage the bade- who cares? Get another one or grind this sucker down until you can get a smooth edge again. It's quick to deploy with one hand, which is a big factor in why I bought it.
Excellent, cheap EDC knife... might just have to get a spare to keep in the car.

Pinstriper: Bought two of these to put in emergency kits for the cars. These are nice quality, good heft and seem like good steel. Came razor sharp, a nice thick strong blade. I would say the blade quality is about like what you get out of a typical Coast knife. So, perfectly comulent serviceable if not ultra-good/fancy. But do you really want an $80 knife sitting in your trunk ? No. You do not. Will this thing serve you well in an emergency/evacuation/bugout situation ? Yes, it will be just fine and not a throw-away piece of junk. If you got stuck somewhere in the snow and needed to gut a fish or squirrel or rabbit it would do a decent enough job at that, too. Good enough strong blade to take apart a small tree with a baton for kindling/firewood or build a shelter. Yeah, this knife may save your bacon some day.

It's too large and heavy for an EDC knife. You could also keep one of these in your center console and be able to cut yourself out of a stuck seatbelt and break a window out if you needed to.

Stephen B.: This knife so far has been pretty good. I got it as a Christmas present and am beyond satisfied with it. It springs open really quick and smooth but it stays nice and tightly closed when your not using so you shouldn't worry about it just randomly opening. All the parts and metal on this thing seem to be of good quality and I believe this knife will last me a long time as long as I don't loose it like I have a habit of doing. I've never had to use the seatbelt cutter or the glass breaker yet but I believe they should work just as well as the blade. This is a great knife and looks slick so anyone interest should definitely buy it.

Edgar ArroyoEdgar Arroyo: The knife is nicely made, it feels sturdy and the spring assist work perfectly it opens pretty fast without much force like other knifes. The knife is a good size (for me atleast didnt want something huge) closed length is about 4 1/2 inches and open is about 7 1/2 inches its about the same as my husky box cutter. The only thing about this knife was it wasnt sharp as i thought it would be. I did the paper cut test it struggled a little but it cut through it pretty good. I will sharpen the knife and see how it goes. I bought this with the intention of just openning boxes and letters with it. I am going camping and will see how it does. I have not yet tried breaking a glass car window or the seat belt cutter. Though i did do the paper test on that and it didnt cut too well so i have my doubts on cutting a seat belt(dont have a junked car to test it out on
