Mike g: These are adjustable - supposedly to 10 lbs each, but as someone who doesn't have huge calves, I can only realistically use 8 lbs - or the weights overlap. But the construction is great... so far (2 mo. after buying it).
The metal rings are excellent because they don't twist like rectangular rings on some of the other heavy ankle weights. Unless I use all 5 weights, I can make it as tight as I want to. big thumbs up!

steve r.: They are well made and the weight is accurate. They are bulky and it takes time to put them on but they stay on. I wear them 1 1/2 hours a day throughout all my workout this includes the Stairmaster. Wear high socks to make them comfortable. Do not buy any ankle weight with only one strap. It will be a waste of your money. These have two straps and ,again, they stay in place. I would buy them again. God bless ya'll.

Cam M: 2nd set I buy. 1st time was cheaper, it went over 108 for a while and came down to 56...is the only 20Lb choice in Amazon. Super solid construction, quality materials, but is always an adventure to adjust and rarely comfortable. If you find it under is a better deal, but until we see other brands around this is a good choice, solid construction, solid materials and a good tool to workout. In short, it will last and is up to you to decide if you want to pay for it.

veuzent: Most important to me is the actual belt that holds the weights is made from a Kevlar-like material which is very durable and should last a long time. The velcro that holds the weight to your leg and also used to keep the sandbags in place is SUPER strong. The first couple of times I used them I needed to realize that I had to pull firmly to open them up. All the sandbags were in perfect condition. The first time I put them on legs, they were a little stiff to get adjusted but ever since then they go right on easily. The two straps keep them from rotating on my legs. I would definitely recommend these weights (10 pounds per leg/20 pounds total.)

skip: I bought the 20lbs set and have been using them for about a month for strength training/leg/core work. I agree with others, these are probably difficult run in but then I'm not sure I would want to run with 10lbs on each leg. For what I do, they are great. Time will tell if there are any wear issues.

They take some getting used to on the fit (not just the weight). At first it seemed very uncomfortable but I have gotten used to it.

The minor issue I have with these is how they close up with the velcro. On my ankle, the ends of the weights butt up against each other preventing me from getting a tight fit. So I've had to really pull hard to get one end on top of the other (wrap-around) to overlap and get a good fit. If I don't get a good fit, they ride up.

Being that there are few 20lbs sets out there, I'm fine with dealing with this.

I think those trying to run in these might be suffering from a bad fit for this reason. It does just take some testing to figure it out.

Justine BJustine B: Purchased the 20lb set. You get TWO 10lb ankle weights and they’re heavier than I expected! A bit cumbersome to get on the first time but they are secure once on.
Flaw: I will say they are a bit long and therefore don’t really fit my ankle unless I remove one of the weights to then layer the flat material under the other side with the weight. Will keep trying though as I’m sure I’ll want the full 10lbs at certain times.
Overall they seem like great quality out of the box.
