Other than that, I bought this after house sitting for my friend and loving hers. I have two dogs who constantly drag dirt into the house and the regular swifter map isn’t quite cutting it anymore, but I like it’s size. However, I returned this for the light up version.

Gordon Sabean: I bought this item under the assumption that it wouldn’t work. I put that aside and ordered one. I must say it does a very good job. It cleans your floors very well. I like that you control the amount of cleaner to use while mopping. It’s easy to use. I had a little problem assembling it but that’s because I refuse to read instructions. My only complaint is that it requires two AA batteries to use it. My complaint does not relate to having to use batteries but rather that the batteries don’t come with it. I was especially disappointed when I was set to use it and learned that they weren’t included. I don’t keep batteries in quantity around the house so I would have appreciated it coming with them. Having said all of that I’d still buy another one. It’s seems pretty well made so I expect it should last a while. I recommend it,

Joan Little: This mop cleans very well. It used to have little lights on the front, making it easier to see where the spray cleaner is going, but mine doesn't. It only uses two batteries and the old ones had 4 batteries, therefore two of the batteries made the light work. Don't know why they changed this feature.

TB: My first job was working in a fast food restaurant, so I learned to clean floors with the big ole yellow bucket and shaggy mop heads. Living in an apartment, I don't have near the square footage to clean as I did at the restaurant back in the day, but I still had it in my head to use those big old buckets. Finally caved and got these instead and I can't believe I've waited this long. For simplicity, you cannot go wrong with this. They are great for quick cleanups and in between deep cleans. I'm still figuring out the amount of liquid to dispense as I did end up with a bit of residue left over after cleaning, but I know that's just a learning curve. This is so much easier to lug around than it was the yellow bucket and mop. However for deep cleaning, yellow bucket will still be my go to. This product will handle everything in between.

Ashley: Well it cleans my floors good (I have vinyl and laminate throughout my house)comes with everything it said it would so what else can I ask for .
Would imagine it works well on tile too, but I cannot say for hardwood as I don’t have real hardwood flooring in my house. Also get some reusable pads on Amazon save money than buying the Throw away ones all the time they work so well, unless your rich and you can buy them . But I have animals so I need to mop near everyday in my house (my flooring is so dark it’s near black and shows EVERYTHING) and buying the throw always all the time was not a solution for me(got costly after a bit) so I bought a 6 packs of microfibre reusable pads that you throw in the wash and they work awesome. However I have a ‘stock pile ‘of the floor solution just in case it ever takes a price hike lol. Very giftable too

Ty: What a neat Product!

This is roughly the same price in stores but it has x4 extra heavy pads and x6 regular pads and a mini bottle of spray that will likely last through all 10 pads. (The ones in stores only have x2 heavy duty and x3 regular, so this pack includes double the mop pads than the store versions for the same price, which I think is important to note if you are solely focused on price).

I was at the store yesterday comparing what I got to a store version (before it got delivered) and that is when I noticed that they are the same price but you get double the amount of pads in this starter kit (which from what I saw is about a $9.99 savings value in mop pads for a x5 pad refill box)… the trial sized bottle of cleaning solution will likely go out before you need to buy new mop pads. It does not take that much spray to clean.

I suspect I could do a full floor mop about 40 times before the liquid would be gone, judging from the amount I copiously used on my first time.

Overall, it’s worth it. Yeah it’s the same price as stores, but you get double the amount of pods and the pads are not exactly cheap.

Unimpressed: We have a smallish 2 bed villa and the small bottle of cleaning fluid only just completed the task. When I went to price follow up containers the only size they were selling were 2 x 1L bottles which were fine but @ A$160 these would last a very short time also. The Swiffer “machine” was great and did a brilliant job. Could not refil the cleaning fluid container with further Swiffer cleaning fluid due to a very well glued on lid. Not kosher. Nothing was explained in the promo spiel. Wouldn’t recommend unless they changed the cost of the “special” bottled liquid to clean the floors and dropped the price of the dawn soap and water liquid in the refil bottles.

Alex BlockAlex Block: So I already owned a Swiffer Sweeper mop (the green on that doesn’t spray) so I had a fair idea regarding the quality of the product. Long story short it’s a solid mop for the price point. Are there better mops out there? Yeah of course but for a mop in the mid $20 range it’s hard to beat. In my opinion the reason they sell this for such a low price is because they intend to make their profits over the long run with disposable pad and cleaning solution refills. In business school they called this the disposable razor strategy, give away a cheap razor and make your money over the long run selling cartridges…

That said I’ve got a couple hacks that can make it so you don’t end up spending $100+ over the life of your mop. I wish I could take credit for them but I honestly saw a youtube video and I’m just parlaying the info into this review haha.

First things first though let me cover a few of the pro’s and con’s.

Pros:

- It’s very lightweight & easy to move around for cleaning. Also comes with a swivel head which makes it convenient to get into tight spaces

- It’s reasonably compact so it’s easy to find a place to store...
